Resumo: This article discusses the cultural-historical theory and its approach to the indigenous schooling of Paraná, allowing for an understanding of the Vygotskian approach and its contribution to the continued valuing of Kaingang food knowledge. It uses a bibliographic review to obtain the theoretical corpus, suggesting that the construction of curricular, projects and pedagogical activities in accordance with the anthropological, medicinal, philosophical and food realities of indigenous peoples is enhanced in the perspective that considers the social and the cultural as important elements of human existence and development, resulting from interaction processes.

Utiliza una revisión bibliográfica para obtener el corpus teórico, sugiriendo que se potencia la construcción de planes de estudio, proyectos y actividades pedagógicas acordes con las realidades, antropológicas, medicinales, filosóficas y alimentarias de los pueblos indígenas en una perspectiva que considera lo social y cultural como elementos importantes de la existencia y el desarrollo humanos, resultantes de los procesos de interacción.Este artigo discute a teoria histórico-cultural e sua aproximação com a escolarização indígena paranaense, permitindo a compreensão da abordagem vygotskyana e sua contribuição para a continuidade na valorização dos saberes alimentares kaingang.
