Resumo: | This article aimed to analyze the effects of accountability mechanisms (evaluation, accountability, and responsibility) on public high schools belonging to the state network of Pernambuco. As methodological procedures, document analysis and semi-structured interviews with teachers who work in high school were used. The results of the research demonstrate that, in the State of Pernambuco, the accountability mechanisms have entailed effects such as gaming practices, as well as charging and regulation via evaluation results, indelibly, in relation to the teaching work. |

Como procedimientos metodológicos, fueron utilizados el análisis documental y entrevistas semiestructuradas con profesores que actúan en la enseñanza media. Los resultados de la investigación demuestran que, en el Estado de Pernambuco, los dispositivos de accountability han acarretado efectos como prácticas de gaming, así como cobro y regulación por los resultados de las evaluaciones, indeleblemente, en relación al trabajo docente.Este artigo teve por objetivo analisar os efeitos dos dispositivos de accountability (avaliação, prestação de contas e responsabilização) sobre escolas públicas de ensino médio pertencentes à rede estadual de Pernambuco. Como procedimentos metodológicos, foram utilizadas a análise documental e entrevistas semiestruturadas com professores que atuam no ensino médio. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstram que, no Estado de Pernambuco, os dispositivos de accountability têm acarretado efeitos como práticas de gaming, assim como cobrança e regulação via resultados das avaliações, indelevelmente, em relação ao trabalho docente.
