Desde 2007, por decreto distrital e por portaria normativa federal, a educação integral passou a ser incentivada como política pública, em todos os níveis de governo. Em 2008, iniciou-se o projeto na referida Escola, que completou cinco anos ininterruptos. Utilizou-se estudo de caso e diferentes técnicas de coleta de dados: entrevistas com gestores, grupos de discussão com pais e com alunos, e aplicação de questionários para professores e monitores. Como resultados, se destacam: a impressão positiva dos pais, ressaltando a ampliação da jornada escolar e a assistência ao aluno com alimentação e com o tempo estendido; os alunos preferem as oficinas de música e de esporte; os professores não tem diálogo, nem contato, com a educação integral realizada no contraturno, mas afirmam ter interesse pelo tema; os monitores defendem a organização das oficinas, mas se queixam da oferta limitada destas; por último, os gestores também avaliam positivamente a experiência e enfatizam o esforço para ampliá-la ao maior número possível de alunos. Foi discutida a necessidade de entendimento da diferença entre “tempo integral” e “educação integral” por parte dos atores envolvidos, a fim de promover a integração entre os turnos, a implicação de professores e monitores no planejamento das atividades, da apreensão do conhecimento por alunos e pais, de forma planejada, e da efetivação do projeto em toda a escola, não apenas ampliando o tempo, mas integrando o currículo, os turnos e explorando potenciais espaços de aprendizagem não explorados na escola, no bairro e na cidade. ___________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis research aimed to investigate the experience of “integral education” developed in Escola Classe 01 do Paranoá, Distrito Federal. Since 2007, by distrital decree and federal normative regulation, the integral education passed to be stimulated like politic public in all govern levels. In 2008, the project started in school that completed five years without interruptions. It was used study case and different techniques to collect information: interviews with directors, focus groups with fathers and students, and questionnaires with teachers and monitors. It can be detach like results: positive opinion by the fathers, detaching the amplification of the scholar day´s work and help for the students with food and with more time in school; the students prefer music workshops and sports workshops; teachers doesn´t have dialogue and contact with integral education, realized in other schedule, but they say that they have interest for the theme; monitors defend the workshop organization, but they complain about the workshops have limited offer; to finish, directors say that the experience is positive too and detaching the effort to amplify to the larger possible numbers of students.
