Para isso, foi feito um referencial teórico enfatizando essa importância e de que maneira acontece no contexto de sala de aula. Através de uma observação participante, a qual valoriza o conhecimento baseado na experiência, foi possível evidenciar, diante da minha vivência em uma escola particular do Distrito Federal, como essa relação acontece no cotidiano. A partir disso, buscou-se planejar mudanças para a atuação do professor dentro da escola, com o intuito de valorizar suas funções, atendendo as necessidades dos maiores interessados no processo educativo, os alunos. Conclui-se, que o professor precisa estar atento às necessidades do aluno, e que essa relação deve estar baseada na confiança, afetividade e respeito, cabendo ao professor orientar o aluno para seu crescimento interno, não deixando sua atenção voltada apenas para o conteúdo a ser ministrado. __________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis study had as objective to investigate the relationship between the teacher and the student at the context of the classroom as well the benefits that this relationship can bring to the meaningful learning of the student. For that, it was done a theoretical emphasizing this importance and that way happens in the context of the classroom. Through a participant observation, which valorises the knowledge based on the experience, it was possible to demonstrate, before my experience in a private school of the Federal District, as this relationship happens in daily life. Since that, we attempted to plan for changes to the teachers performance in the school, with the aim at enhance their functions, taking into account the needs of the major stakeholders in the educational process, the students.
