The Place of Biography and Synopsis, as Paratexts, in Children's Literary Works

Resumo: Considering that a book is made up of text and paratexts, and that the reader's interaction with both qualifies reading, we intend to investigate how the verbal paratexts biography and synopsis are presented in children's literary works. For this study, we used three stories of PNBE 2014: A princesa desejosa, by Cristina Biazetto, Pedro Noite, by Caio Riter, and A velinha e o porco, by Rosinha. The analysis of the stories considered the formation of the biography and synopsis, taking into account their characteristics, as for example the language used and to whom they are directed. The data point to the relevance of considering data which are present in paratexts in processes of mediation of literary books.

Fueron utilizadas tres obras del PNBE 2014: A princesa desejosa, de Cristina Biazetto, Pedro Noite, de Caio Riter y A velinha e o porco, de Rosinha. El análisis de las obras consideró la formación de los paratextos citados, llevando en cuenta sus características, como, por ejemplo, el lenguaje y los receptores a quiénes son dirigidos. Los datos indican la relevancia de atentar para datos presentes en paratextos en procesos de mediación de las obras literarias.Considérant qu'un livre est composé de texte et de paratextes et que l'interaction avec les deux qualifie la lecture, cet étude  prétend étudier comment les paratextes verbaux, la biographie et le synopsis, sont présentés dans le travail littéraire pour enfants. Trois œuvres du PNBE 2014 ont été utilisées:  A princesa desejosa, de Cristina Biazetto, Pedro Noite, de Caio Riter et A velinha e o porco, de Rosinha. L'analyse des œuvres a considéré la formation des paratextes susmentionnés, en tenant compte de leurs caractéristiques, telles que, par exemple, la langue et les destinataires auxquels elles s'adressent. Les données indiquent la pertinence d'essayer de trouver des données présentes dans les paratextes dans les processus de médiation des œuvres littéraires.Considerando que um livro é formado por texto e paratextos e que a interação com ambos qualifica a leitura, pretende-se investigar como os paratextos verbais biografia e sinopse são apresentados na obra literária infantil. Foram utilizadas três obras do PNBE 2014: A princesa desejosa, de Cristina Biazetto, Pedro Noite, de Caio Riter, A velinha e o porco, de Rosinha. A análise das obras considerou a formação dos paratextos citados, levando em conta as suas características, como, por exemplo, a linguagem e os receptores a quem são direcionados.
