Resumo: This paper aims to discuss the current issue of indigenous access to the Federal University of Amazonas and their permanence, through Affirmative Action, in undergraduate courses. Thus, this work is qualitative in nature, based on bibliographic and documentary research. It aims to contextualize and understand the process of construction and materialization of the right to education for indigenous peoples. In synthesis, affirmative action in contemporary times has been of paramount importance, both for access and for the permanence of indigenous peoples in higher education, restoring inequalities in higher education.

Por lo tanto, el trabajo respectivo es de naturaleza cualitativa, apoyado por la investigación bibliográfica y documental. Su objetivo es contextualizar y comprender el proceso de construcción y materialización del derecho a la educación de los pueblos indígenas. En síntesis, la acción afirmativa en la época contemporánea ha sido de suma importancia, tanto para el acceso como para la permanencia de los pueblos indígenas en la educación superior, restableciendo las desigualdades en la misma.O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de discutir a questão atual de acesso indígena à Universidade Federal do Amazonas e de sua permanência, por meio das Ações Afirmativas, nos cursos de graduação. Deste modo, o respectivo trabalho é de cunho qualitativo, apoiado na pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Tem como objetivo contextualizar e compreender o processo de construção e de materialização do direito à educação dos povos indígenas.
