Resumo: | The text presents results from quantitative-qualitative research on the reader profile of high school students who came from public schools in Feliz/RS and the contribution of their teachers to this construction. Theories about reading collaborated to the analysis of data which were compared with another research carried out with professors from the same teaching level. As findings, most students have positive memories of reading and the actions provided by the teachers contributed to the reader formation of their students. |

As findings, most students have positive memories of reading and the actions provided by the teachers contributed to the reader formation of their students.Este texto presenta datos de una encuesta que analisa cómo se contituyen los estudiantes lectores de secundária de esculas públicas de Feliz/RS y de qué manera el trabaljo del profesor hace la diferencia en la formación lectora del alumno. Las teorias de la lectura contrubuyen con las discusiones. Valiendóse desta encuesta y de análises, descripciones y comparaciones con respuestas de los profesores en encuesta anterior, se nota que la mayoria de los estudiantes tuvieron experiencias productivas de lectura. El trabajo de los profesores, fué positivo para la formación lectora de sus alumnos.Este texto traz resultados da pesquisa quanti-qualitativa sobre o perfil leitor de ingressantes no ensino médio oriundos de escolas públicas municipais de Feliz/RS e a contribuição de seus professores para essa construção. Teorias da área da leitura embasam a análise dos dados coletados nesta pesquisa e são comparados com a anterior, realizada com docentes da mesma rede.
