Resumo: This article aims to investigate knowledge and identity aspects related to wool craft in the Brazilian Pampa. Therefore, we carried out eight interviews with female and male artisans from Santana do Livramento through a script of questions. The artisans recover the trajectory of their lives along with this passion for weaving individually or in a group, in different ways, preserving rusticity. Following market changes, gathering the knowledge passed through family and courses, wool craft and people who produce it guarantee the vitality of territorial identity of the Pampa with each new garment they produce, full of meanings. Brazilian Pampa.   O objetivo desse artigo foi pesquisar saberes e aspectos identitários relativos ao artesanato em lã no pampa brasileiro. Para alcançar esse objetivo, foram realizadas oito entrevistas com artesãos e artesãs do município Santana do Livramento com auxílio de um roteiro de questões. Os artesãos e as artesãs resgatam a trajetória de suas vidas junto a essa paixão de tecer individualmente ou em grupo, de diferentes formas, preservando a rusticidade. Acompanhando as mudanças do mercado, somando os saberes repassados no interior da família e nos cursos, o artesanato em lã e as pessoas que o fazem garantem a vitalidade da identidade territorial do pampa a cada nova peça que produzem, carregada de significados.
