The presence of black authors in the Literary PNLD: what place are we talking about?

Resumo: This article brings a brief analysis of the collection of the Programa Nacional do Livro e do Material Didático - PNLD Literário (National Book and Didactic Material Program), regarding the approval of works that deal with ethnic-racial issues related to blackness themes, in the 2018 and 2020 editions. In this way, we propose to identify the presence of black and afro-descendant authors whose works were selected by the program. We endorse the importance of the “place of speech” of the voices that enunciate the discourse in the production of narratives, highlighting the relevance of these productions for the strengthening of pedagogical actions that contribute to the fulfillment of Law 10639/03, as well as for the engagement in the fight against racism.

Nesse recorte, buscamos quantificar a presença de autores negros e afrodescendentes cujas obras foram selecionadas pelo programa.
