Scientific culture on digital social networks: a model on the influence of democratization of scientific knowledge

When we come to understand the importance of promoting scientific culture in society as a movement for evolution and stimulation of the breaking down of socio-cultural and educational barriers we question ourselves regarding the vehicles that can be adopted to bring scientific productions closer to all social classes in a more equal, democratic and popular way, which leads us to digital social networks, important means of communication in the technological scenario we are currently experiencing. In this sense, we can conjecture that adopting these networks as vehicles for scientific dissemination can be a relevant strategy considering their multiple user attraction and accessibility resources. However, one of the challenges concerns the idea of ​​how to measure indexes of science popularization from the use of digital social networks in values ​​that allow estimating an acquired coefficient of scientific culture. Given this problem, we present a set of conceptual and mathematical-computational models that together made it possible to prove what was thought about the potential of digital social networks as efficient means of scientific dissemination and democratization, ratifying the premise that all individuals, regardless of their educational background, can evolve scientifically when appropriate mechanisms are adopted for their cognitive stimulation.
