Resumo: | This article aims to reveal the concept of reading present in the Guia do Programa Conta pra mim of the Federal Government, addressed to parents. For this, we selected the terms Literacy, reading aloud, asking someone and Reading habit, all used in the statements of the document, to analyze the light of the theorists Arena, Bajard, Foucambert, Jolibert and collaborators, Girotto and Souza. The results show that the conception of reading adopted by the organizers of the Program Guide is traditional, as they confuse the act of reading with that of oralization, reinforce the importance of children answering questions prepared by their parents and not by themselves, in addition to understanding the the act of reading as a habit and not as a necessity created from the experiences of children. In addition, although we consider important a program that encourages interaction between parents and children through the vocal transmission of the text, we concluded that, as in every document, parents are asked to “read aloud” to their children, there is no reading, since the true reading is silent, a subjective process of construction of meanings. |

Para ello, seleccionamos los términos Alfabetización, Leer en voz alta, Preguntar a alguien y Hábito de lectura, todos utilizados en los enunciados del documento, para analizar a la luz de los teóricos Arena, Bajard, Foucambert, Jolibert y colaboradores, Girotto y Souza. Los resultados indican que el concepto de lectura adoptado por los organizadores de la Guía del Programa es tradicional, ya que confunden el acto de leer con el de hablar, refuerzan la importancia de que los niños respondan preguntas preparadas por sus padres y no por ellos mismos, además de entendiendo la lectura como un hábito y no como una necesidad creada a partir de las experiencias de los niños. Además, si bien consideramos importante contar con un programa que anime a los padres a interactuar con sus hijos a través de la transmisión de voz del texto, concluimos, como se solicita a lo largo de todo el documento, que los padres “leen en voz alta” a los niños, cuánto no hay lectura, porque la verdadera lectura es silenciosa, un proceso subjetivo de construcción de significados.O presente artigo tem o objetivo de desvelar a concepção de leitura presente no Guia do Programa Conta pra mim do Governo Federal, endereçado aos pais. Para isso, selecionamos os termos Literacia, Leitura em voz alta, Perguntar para alguém e Hábito de leitura, todos usados nos enunciados do documento, para analisar à luz dos teóricos Arena, Bajard, Foucambert, Jolibert e colaboradores, Girotto e Souza. Os resultados apontam que a concepção de leitura adotada pelos organizadores do Guia do Programa é tradicional, pois confundem o ato de ler com o de oralizar, reforçam a importância de as crianças responderem questionamentos elaborados pelos pais e não por elas próprias, além de compreenderem a leitura como hábito e não como necessidade criada a partir das experiências e vivências das crianças.
