Of the Work to Myths: a new line in the map of the research in Ethnomathematics

Resumo: In this paper we accentuate the existence of a new line of research in the inside of the Ethnomathematics Program. In its origin, the research in this area had searched to more understand the diversity of the mathematical thought from a careful look for work activities. However, in the last years, we have considered with more attention the affirmation of anthropologists of whom the myths it can be used to understand the questions most basic of the human thought and also specific questions on the society that produced them. With the use of this idea the myths of the different peoples are perceived as informing regarding its Ethnomathematics.Currently, thus together with the activities of work, the myths constitute a support on which we are tracing a line of research. Keywords: Research. Ethnomathematics Program. Myths.Neste artigo, ressaltamos a existência de uma nova linha de pesquisas no interior do Programa Etnomatemática. Na sua origem, as pesquisas nessa área buscaram compreender a diversidade do pensamento matemático, a partir de um olhar mais acurado para atividades de trabalho. Entretanto, nos últimos anos, temos considerado com mais atenção a afirmação de antropólogos de que os mitos servem, tanto como vias para se chegar às questões mais fundamentais do pensamento humano, quanto para compreendermos questões específicas sobre a sociedade que os produziu. É a partir dessa idéia que os mitos fundantes dos diferentes povos passaram a ser vistos como informantes a respeito de suas etnomatemáticas. Assim, atualmente, junto com as atividades laborais, os mitos constituem um suporte sobre o qual estamos traçando uma linha de pesquisa. Palavras-chave: Pesquisa. Programa Etnomatemática.
