Social representation of physical education by workers students of night teaching

Resumo: The Physical Education in night teaching still has many gaps, so this research aimed to identify the social representations of Physical Education sustained by the students workers of this modality. This item was introduced, through semi-structured interviews, to 44 students of night teaching in the municipality of Belford Roxo and Rio de Janeiro. The analysis of the material discursive rhetoric indicated that students believe that it refers to: sports, entertainment and health and pointed his practice for two directions: the Physical Education or is to speak or to do. In conclusion, it was possible to seize evidence that social representations of physical education for these workers students condense in the metaphor medicine. This subject is the representation of body that appears as a deposit of energy, and is related to the field of representation of human development, gender, and from school.

Esse tema foi apresentado, por meio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas, a 44 alunos do ensino noturno da rede de ensino do município de Belford Roxo e do Rio de Janeiro. A análise retórica do material discursivo indicou que os estudantes consideram que ela se refere a: esporte, diversão e saúde e apontam sua prática para duas direções: a Educação Física ou é para falar ou para fazer. Como conclusão, foi possível apreender indícios de que as representações sociais de Educação Física para estes alunos trabalhadores condensam-se na metáfora remédio.
