The management of molasses agroindustries in the Noroeste Missões-RS, Brazil, by the perception of their managers

Resumo: The study on the management of molasses agribusinesses and other sugarcane derivatives of Noroeste Missões-RS, Brazil, in the perception of their managers, is needed so that information and data can be analyzed and transformed into knowledge. This type of study contributes to the development of the sector, job creation and income increment, which keeps younger generations in the field in the succession of family agribusinesses. In this research work it was noticed that the managers surveyed do not adopt formal management tools such as schedules and worksheets for the division of labor and financial controls, and do informally, without sometimes not realize that adopt some administrative tool. Advantages have been reported in the creation and legalization of agribusinesses process, such as increased employment, product mix and production volumes for marketing, in addition to increased sales, profitability and open up new domestic and foreign markets. These advantages outweigh any disadvantages cited by some managers, as an increase in taxes, delay in return on the initial investment and various additional costs. The brown sugar and the molasses are the products manufactured and sold within the sample of the Northwest Region Missions/RS, and the sugar has a representative rate of 51.8% and 41.6% molasses. Within the agricultural industries most representatives of production and marketing to highlight the F, G, with 29% and 25% respectively of the total produced products. Although, it was realized that the organic seal has more significant impact than the flavor gaucho seal forward the opening of new domestic and foreign markets for export, and two of the seven agribusinesses sample have permission to use the labels. Finally, glimpses the horizon a framework for future knowledge in the industry, which may come through new research, for analysis in greater depth, adding to is sample those informally, that is, managers system handicraft production of sugar cane derivatives.

Finally, glimpses the horizon a framework for future knowledge in the industry, which may come through new research, for analysis in greater depth, adding to is sample those informally, that is, managers system handicraft production of sugar cane derivatives.El estudio sobre el manejo de la melaza y otros agronegocios de la caña de azúcar en la región del Noroeste Missões-RS, Brasil, bajo la percepción de sus gerentes, es necesario para que la información y los datos puedan analizarse y transformarse en conocimiento capaz de contribuir al desarrollo del sector, con más generación de empleo e ingresos, presentándose como una opción atractiva para los jóvenes en el campo, contribuyendo con la continuidad del agronegocio familiar. En este trabajo de investigación, se observó que los gestores encuestados no adoptan herramientas formales de gestión, como cronogramas y hojas de cálculo para la división de controles laborales y financieros, siendo que lo hacen de manera informal, sin darse cuenta que, a veces, adoptan herramientas administrativas. Fueron relatadas ventajas en el proceso de creación y legalización de las agroindustrias, como el aumento del empleo, la mezcla de productos y los volúmenes de producción para la comercialización, además del aumento de las ventas, la rentabilidad y la apertura de nuevos mercados nacionales y extranjeros. Estas ventajas son mayores que las desventajas citadas por algunos gerentes, como un aumento en los impuestos, un retraso en el retorno de la inversión inicial y costos adicionales variables. El azúcar moreno y el melado son los productos más producidos y comercializados dentro de la muestra de la región Noroeste Misiones-RS, siendo que el azúcar tiene un índice de representatividad del 51.8% y el melaza de 41.6%. Entre las agroindustrias con mayor representatividad de producción y comercialización, se destacan las regiones F y G, con 29% y 25%, respectivamente, del total de productos producidos. Además, se notó que el sello orgánico tiene mayor impacto que el sello de sabor gaucho al abrir nuevos mercados internos y externos para la exportación, siendo que dos de las siete agroindustrias de la muestra tienen la autorización para su uso en las etiquetas. Finalmente, se vislumbró en el horizonte un marco para futuros conocimiento en el sector, que podrán venir a través de nuevas investigaciones, para un análisis más detallado, agregándose a esta muestra aquellos que están en la informalidad, es decir, gestores del sistema artesanal de producción de derivados de la caña de azúcar.O estudo sobre a gestão das agroindústrias de melado e outros derivados de cana-de-açúcar da Região Noroeste Missões-RS, sob a percepção dos seus gestores, faz-se necessário para que informações e dados possam ser analisados e transformados em conhecimentos capazes de contribuir com o desenvolvimento do setor, com mais geração de emprego e renda, apresentando-se como uma opção atrativa ao jovem no campo, colaborando para a sucessão das agroindústrias familiares. Neste trabalho de pesquisa, percebeu-se que os gestores pesquisados não adotam ferramentas de gestão formais, como cronogramas e planilhas para a divisão do trabalho e para controles financeiros, sendo que fazem isso informalmente, sem que, às vezes, nem percebam que adotam alguma ferramenta administrativa. Foram relatadas vantagens no processo de criação e legalização das agroindústrias, como o aumento do emprego, do mix de produtos e volumes de produção para comercialização, além do aumento das vendas, da rentabilidade e abertura de novos mercados internos e externos. Essas vantagens superam as eventuais desvantagens citadas por alguns gestores, como um aumento dos impostos, demora no retorno sobre o investimento inicial e custos adicionais variados. O açúcar mascavo e o melado são os produtos mais produzidos e comercializados dentro da amostra da Região Noroeste Missões-RS, sendo que o açúcar possui um índice de representatividade de 51,8% e o melado de 41,6%. Entre as agroindústrias com maior representatividade de produção e comercialização destacam-se a F e a G, com 29% e 25%, respectivamente, do total de produtos produzidos. Ainda, percebeu-se que o selo orgânico tem maior impacto que o selo sabor gaúcho frente à abertura de novos mercados internos e externos para exportação, sendo que duas das sete agroindústrias da amostra possuem a autorização para seu uso nos rótulos.
