Resumo: The present work deals with the public space in the city of San Luis Potosí (squares and neighborhood gardens) and the elements that integrate them, which allow identifying their general characteristics and the problems they are currently experiencing, contributing to the knowledge of these systematized and pertinent way for decision-making in the field of public administration regarding the necessary interventions to provide better service and care to the local population based on their location, physical condition, spatial configuration, etc., in addition, It will support students and researchers in the area of urban design for a better understanding of its production, development and approach methods for its study.
