The connections between the dominant food system and covid-19: challenges to Food and Nutritional Security in the present and after time

Resumo: The reflection made here is wrapped in a symbiosis of systemic issues that has been gradually compromising the health of socio-biodiversity. The objective was to reflect on the connections between the dominant food system and COVID-19, in line with this, there is an alert to the challenges to Food and Nutrition Security now and after the pandemic. The new coronavirus is spreading like the hunger virus in an already hungry world, which tends to increase food and nutritional insecurity, as in the Brazilian case. It became evident that this agroindustrial system is exposing more and more people to risks, especially those most vulnerable to hunger.

Consoante a isto, se faz um alerta aos desafios que este emprega à Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional, no tempo presente e pós pandemia. O novo coronavírus se dissemina como o vírus da fome em um mundo já faminto, o que tende a aumentar a insegurança alimentar e nutricional da população, como no caso brasileiro.
