Resumo: | In this presentation text from the homonym dossier which was produced by the International Research Network “Images, Geographies and Education”, we bring the multiple facets of the struggle for democratization of cinema, from access to films in circulation to access to cinematographic production, through studies and initiatives to intensify the presence of cinema in schools. The research that sustains the dossier articles was accomplished with more than two hundred geography professors from Brazil, Argentina and Colombia. It intended to question the answers given as well as suggesting it will be more powerful to create and misshape thoughts if it raises questions that help us formulate other new questions and problems for the educational contexts in which we operate - for the place where we live - and which could also be taken as questions for other contexts in which education establishes different relations with the cinema. The questionnaire has been attached to the text in which we argue about the fact that democratization would be in the possibility to the approach between cinema and education, could be carried out without a type of cinema being implemented, but instead, proposing and implementing experimentation processes with cinema, enabling each school to develop its own way of making cinema. |

La investigación de apoyo a los artículos del dossier, realizada con más de doscientos profesores de geografía de Brasil, Argentina y Colombia, tuvo como objetivo hacer preguntas por las respuestas, ya que ella será más potente para crear y deformar pensamientos si nos trae preguntas que ayuden para formular nuevas preguntas y problemas para los contextos educativos en los que nos desenvolvemos - para el lugar donde vivimos -, y que también podrían ser tomados como preguntas para otros contextos en los que la educación establece distintas relaciones con el cine. El cuestionario utilizado se adjunta al texto en el que argumentamos que la democratización estaría en la posibilidad de que el acercamiento entre cine y educación pueda darse sin que se implemente un tipo de cine, sino que propone y fomenta procesos de experimentación con el cine, haciendo para que cada escuela tenga su propia forma de hacer cine.Neste texto de apresentação do dossiê homônimo, produzido pela Rede Internacional de Pesquisa “Imagens, Geografias e Educação”, trazemos as múltiplas facetas dos combates pela democratização do cinema, desde o acesso aos filmes em circulação, até o acesso à produção cinematográfica, passando pelos estudos e iniciativas para a intensificação da presença do cinema nas escolas. A pesquisa que sustenta os artigos do dossiê, realizada com mais de duzentos professores de geografia do Brasil, Argentina e Colômbia teve a intenção de fazer perguntas para as respostas, uma vez que ela será mais potente para criar e deformar pensamentos se nos trouxer perguntas que nos ajudem a formular novas perguntas e problemas para os contextos educativos onde atuamos – para o lugar onde vivemos –, e que também pudessem ser tomadas como questões para outros contextos em que a educação estabelece relações diversas com o cinema.
