Resumo: | The field of study of cultural pedagogies has advanced considerably in demonstrating the processes of cultural production and identity construction developed by large corporations based on their market interests. This work intends to contribute to studies on cultural pedagogies through an analysis of the narratives present in the universe of custom motorcycles and their role in the construction of the custom biker identity, for which the Harley-Davidson motorcycle brand appears as a fundamental reference. It seeks to highlight the role of the cultural industry and, specifically, Harley-Davidson, in constituting the identity referents from which the custom biker identity is built. |

Este trabajo pretende contribuir a los estudios sobre pedagogías culturales a través de un análisis de las narrativas presentes en el universo de las motos custom y su papel en la presentación de referentes identitarios relevantes para la construcción de una identidad social motociclista. Se busca resaltar el papel de la industria cultural y, en concreto, de Harley-Davidson, en la constitución de los referentes identitarios a partir de los cuales se desarrollan los procesos de construcción de la identidad social personalizada del motociclista. O campo de estudos das pedagogias culturais tem avançado de forma considerável em demonstrar os processos de produção cultural e de construção identitária desenvolvidos pelas grandes corporações a partir de seus interesses de mercado. Este trabalho pretende contribuir com os estudos sobre as pedagogias culturais através de uma análise das narrativas presentes no universo de motocicletas custom e o seu papel na apresentação de referentes identitários relevantes para a construção de uma identidade social biker.
