Resumo: | This study analyzed how research discusses training and teaching in health within higher education. Methodologically, it is guided by a qualitative, bibliographic approach. In this perspective, a preliminary study of scientific production was conducted based on articles published on the theme "Teaching in Health in Higher Education in Brazil" over the last 10 years (2010-2020) in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). This production reveals the complexity of teaching practice and reaffirms the significant need for teacher training in the health field. As a result, discussions about teaching in higher education in health and introducing new learning methodologies emerge as challenges for researchers, educators, and institutions seeking to implement concrete policies to promote changes in professional training, thus favoring the necessary transformations in practices. These considerations emphasize the significant demand for effective teacher training in the health field. |

These considerations emphasize the significant demand for effective teacher training in the health field.Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar cómo las investigaciones discuten la formación y la docencia en el área de la salud en el nivel de Educación Superior. El abordaje implementado fue de corte cualitativo de tipo bibliográfico, por lo cual, se realizó un estudio preliminar de la producción científica de los últimos 10 años (2010-2020), con el tema "Docencia en el área de la Salud en el nivel de Educación Superior en Brasil" encontrados en la plataforma de la Biblioteca Científica Electrónica en Línea (SciELO). Esta producción revela la existencia de una práctica docente compleja y reafirma la necesidad de la formación de profesores en el área de la salud. De esta forma, fue posible concluir que los debates sobre la docencia en la Educación Superior en el campo de la salud y en la implementación de nuevas metodologías de aprendizaje terminan representando desafíos para investigadores, educadores e instituciones en su intento por construir políticas concretas que promuevan cambios en la formación de perfiles profesionales que posibiliten las transformaciones necesarias de las prácticas y reafirmen que existe una necesidad significativa de formación docente en el área en custeio.Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar como as pesquisas discutem a formação e docência em saúde na educação superior. Metodologicamente, orienta-se pela abordagem qualitativa, do tipo bibliográfica. Nessa perspectiva, foi realizado um estudo preliminar da produção científica, a partir de artigos publicados sobre a temática "Docência em Saúde na Educação Superior no Brasil”, nos últimos 10 anos (2010-2020) na Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Esta produção nos revela a existência de uma complexidade da prática docente e reafirma a expressiva necessidade da formação docente na área da saúde. Com isso, as discussões sobre o exercício do magistério no ensino superior em saúde e a introdução de novas metodologias de aprendizagem surgem como desafios para pesquisadores, educadores e instituições, que buscam implementar políticas concretas visando promover mudanças na formação de profissionais, de modo a favorecer as transformações necessárias nas práticas.
