Scientific Initiation in the interior of the Amazon: promoting scientific and technological literacy with elementary students in a Science club

Resumo: The present work aims to investigate the contributions of the Scientific Initiation to the promotion of Scientific and Technological Literacy of primary school students. In addition, it intends to socialize research activities, developed in a Science Club, with students of elementary and secondary education and to disseminate Scientific Initiation as an educational possibility to the school environment. The moments of planning, execution and socialization of the projects served as sources of information for the collection of data that are analyzed following the guidelines of Bardin (2011).The study revealed that Scientific Initiation is a path that can offer conditions for the individual to acquire the conceptual content, in a significant way, because it does not privilege it, placing it at the same level of importance of the procedural, epistemological and attitudinal contents, thus corroborating, for the broad development of students and the promotion of Scientific and Technological Literacy of the same.

Además, pretende socializar las actividades de investigación, desarrolladas en un Club de Ciencias, con alumnos de la enseñanza fundamental y media y diseminar la Iniciación Científica como una posibilidad educativa al ambiente escolar. Los momentos de planificación, ejecución y socialización de los proyectos sirvieron como fuentes de información para la recopilación de datos que se analizan siguiendo las pautas de Bardin (2011). El estudio reveló que la Iniciación Científica constituye un camino que puede ofrecer condiciones de que el individuo adquiere el contenido conceptual, de una forma significativa, pues no lo privilegia, poniéndolo al mismo nivel de importancia de los contenidos procedimentales, epistemológicos y actitudes, corroborando, para el amplio desarrollo de los alumnos y la promoción de la Alfabetización Científica y Tecnológica de los mismos.O presente trabalho objetiva investigar contribuições da Inicição Científica à promoção da Alfabetização Científica e Tecnológica de alunos do ensino básico. Além disso, pretende socializar as atividades de pesquisa desenvolvidas em um Clube de Ciências com alunos do ensino fundamental e médio e disseminar a Iniciação Científica como uma possibilidade educativa ao ambiente escolar. Os momentos de planejamentos, execução e socialização dos projetos serviram como fontes de informações para a coleta dos dados que são analisadas seguindo as orientações de Bardin (2011).
