Proposing a dialogue between genetics, scientific fiction and theory of Meaningful Learning in the implementation of a workshop

Resumo: | With the intention of carrying out a study that addressed the integration of students' knowledge, with in the perspective of vertical education, in this case the union of students from technical high school to postgraduate, building the so-called vertical education, the Genetikar Workshop was created. A Project with specific contents of theTechnical High School in Environmental Control, aimed to discuss scientific concepts of genetics for its approach toth estudents' daily life. The workshop hás been structured on the following question: “How can the interaction between Genetic, Science and Art knowledge, and laboratory practices, based on TAS, facilitate the learning of scientific content for students of technical education?” This workshop was built through of Meaningful Learning Theory (MLT) methodology and took place in two consecutive years. As results we sought to focus on two essential products that can answer the question proposed in the workshop, they are: the didactic sequential organization of the workshop, and the works produced by the students attheend of it. Thus, it is possible to perceive through the dialogue and works presented during the workshop, the integration of the proposed knowledge; concluding that, through the analyzed material and the construction of its own sequential organization, there were signs of a Meaningful Learning of scientific concepts seen in the workshop. |

Un proyecto que abarcó contenidos específicos del curso secundaria técnica en Control Ambiental, con el objetivo de debatir los conceptos científicos de la genética a través de una aproximación a la vida cotidiana de los estudiantes. Por lo tanto, la construcción del taller se guió por la siguiente pregunta: “¿Cómo puede facilitar la interacción entre el conocimiento de Genética, Ciencia y Arte, y las prácticas de laboratorio, basadas en la Teoría del Aprendizaje Significativo (TAS), pueden facilitar el aprendizaje de contenido científico para los estudiantes del medio técnico? Por lo tanto, con la preocupación de que este taller fue construido metodológicamente a la luz de TAS, su organización fue diseñada usando el Diagrama V de Gowin. Estudiantes en diferentes niveles de educación participaron en esta construcción. En la presentación de los resultados, buscamos enfocarnos en dos productos que puedan responder a la pregunta propuesta: la organización didáctica secuencial del taller y las manifestaciones y trabajos realizados por los estudiantes. Así, es posible percibir a través del diálogo y los trabajos presentados durante el taller, la integración del conocimiento propuesto; concluyendo que, a través del material analizado y la construcción de su propia organización secuencial, hubo signos de un Aprendizaje Significativo de los conceptos científicos observados en el taller.Na intenção de realizar um estudo que abordasse a integração de saberes dos alunos, dentro da perspectiva da verticalização do ensino, neste caso a união de discentes do ensino médio técnico à pós-graduação, construindo a chamada educação verticalizada, criou-se a Oficina Genetikar. Um projeto que englobou conteúdos específicos do curso médio técnico em Controle Ambiental, tendo como objetivo debater conceitos científicos de genética por meio de uma aproximação com o cotidiano dos alunos. Desta forma, a construção da oficina foi pautada no seguinte questionamento: “Como a interação entre os saberes Genética, Ciência e Arte, e, práticas laboratoriais, embasados na Teoria da Aprendizagem Significativa (TAS), podem facilitar o aprendizado de conteúdos científicos, para os alunos do médio técnico?” Portanto, com a preocupação de que essa oficina fosse construída metodologicamente à luz da TAS, sua organização foi desenhada por meio do Diagrama V de Gowin. Alunos nos diferentes níveis de ensino participaram dessa construção. Na exposição dos resultados buscou-se focar em dois produtos que podem responder ao questionamento proposto: a organização sequencial didática da oficina e as manifestações e os trabalhos realizados pelos alunos.
