Development of an instrument for the evaluation of distance education modules in the health area

Resumo: Introduction: Information and communication technologies gain space in the teaching and learning processes, mainly in the form of modules and distance courses and have become important in the training of health professionals. Objective: To develop an instrument for the evaluation of educational modules mediated by technology for permanent health education. Methodology: This is an exploratory descriptive study that started from a systematic review and based on its results, the instrument for the evaluation of educational modules was constructed for later validation. Results: the developed instrument allows to identify the characterization of the course and to evaluate the strategies, educational resources and pedagogical dimensions, in addition to the quality assessment, characterization of the evaluator and other important information for the process of construction of educational modules for the health area. Conclusion: It is intended, from this instrument and after validated, to contribute to the evaluation of distance courses and modules in the health area, thus offering greater quality in the teaching / learning processes.

Objetivo: Desarrollar un instrumento para la evaluación de módulos educativos mediados por tecnología para la educación permanente en salud. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo exploratorio que partió de una revisión sistemática y con base en sus resultados se construyó el instrumento de evaluación de módulos educativos para su posterior validación. Resultados: el instrumento desarrollado permite identificar la caracterización del curso y evaluar las estrategias, recursos educativos y dimensiones pedagógicas, además de la valoración de la calidad, caracterización del evaluador y otra información importante para el proceso de construcción de módulos educativos para el área de salud. Conclusión: Se pretende, a partir de este instrumento y luego de validado, contribuir a la evaluación de cursos y módulos a distancia en el área de la salud, ofreciendo así una mayor calidad en los procesos de enseñanza / aprendizaje.Introdução: As tecnologias de informação e comunicação ganham espaço nos processos de ensino e aprendizagem, principalmente na forma de módulos e cursos à distância, tornaram-se importantes na formação do profissional de saúde. Objetivo: Desenvolver um instrumento de avaliação de módulos educacionais mediados por tecnologia para a educação permanente em saúde. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo exploratório descritivo que partiu de uma revisão sistemática e com base em seus resultados foi construído o instrumento de avaliação de módulos educacionais para posterior validação. Resultados: o instrumento desenvolvido permite identificar a caracterização do curso e avaliar as estratégias, os recursos educacionais e as dimensões pedagógicas, além da avaliação da qualidade, caracterização do avaliador e outras informações importantes para o processo de construção de módulos educacionais para a área da saúde.
