Educational methodologies applied in the teaching of nursing theories: integrative review

Resumo: | Objective: to synthesize the scientific production on educational methodologies applied in the teaching of nursing theories at undergraduate, graduate and professional levels. Method: integrative review of the literature performed in the databases: Medical Literature and Retrivial System onLine (MEDLINE/PubMed®); SCOPUS (Elsevier); Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS) and Nursing Database (BDENF). The PICo methodology was used to construct the research question and select descriptors, as: "nursing theories", "teaching", "educational technology" and "nursing education". Seven articles published from 1994 to 2022 were selected. Results: The educational methodologies mentioned by the authors of the studies analyzed in the teaching of nursing theories are: traditional method, gamification, audiovisual resources, simulation and self-directed learning. Conclusion: the use of diversified educational methodologies is effective in teaching nursing theories by promoting playful and interactive approaches, as it provides students, graduate students, and professionals with the development of necessary skills for the exercise of professional practice. |

Método: revisión integradora de la literatura realizada en las bases de datos: Medical Literature and Retrivial System onLine (MEDLINE/PubMed®); SCOPUS (Elsevier); Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en Ciencias de la Salud (LILACS) y Base de Datos de Enfermería (BDENF). La metodología PICo fue utilizada para construir la pregunta de investigación y seleccionar descriptores, como: "teorías de enfermería", "enseñanza", "tecnología educativa" y "educación en enfermería". Se seleccionaron siete artículos publicados entre 1994 y 2022. Resultados: Las metodologías educativas mencionadas por los autores de los estudios analizados en la enseñanza de las teorías de enfermería son: método tradicional, gamificación, recursos audiovisuales, simulación y aprendizaje autodirigido. Conclusión: el uso de metodologías educativas diversificadas es efectivo en la enseñanza de las teorías de enfermería, promoviendo enfoques lúdicos e interactivos, ya que proporciona a los estudiantes, estudiantes de posgrado y profesionales el desarrollo de las habilidades necesarias para el ejercicio de la práctica profesional.Objetivo: sintetizar a produção científica sobre metodologias educacionais aplicadas no ensino de teorias de enfermagem em níveis de graduação, pós-graduação e profissional. Método: revisão integrativa da literatura realizada nas bases de dados: Medical Literature and Retrivial System onLine (MEDLINE/PubMed®); SCOPUS (Elsevier); Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e Base de dados em enfermagem (BDENF). Foi utilizado a metodologia PICo para construção da pergunta de pesquisa e selecionar descritores, a constar: “teorias de enfermagem”, “ensino”, “tecnologia educacional” e “educação em enfermagem”. Foram selecionados sete artigos publicados no período de 1994 a 2022. Resultados: As metodologias educacionais mencionadas pelos autores dos estudos analisados no ensino de teorias de enfermagem são: método tradicional, gamificação, recursos audiovisuais, simulação e aprendizagem autodirigida.
