Use of educational design in the design of the Computer Programming teaching project in the Distance Education mode

Resumo: | The objective of this article is to present the conception of a computer programming teaching project in Distance Education (EAD) for a group of students from a vocational course in the city of Novo Hamburgo (RS). The target audience is 25 young people with an average age of 20, who are preparing to work in the area of Information Technology as programmers. After a basic training of a semester, are introduced to the study of structured programming languages of computers, in this specific case the programming language C. After the face-to-face training, the students have a discipline in the EAD mode. This project is composed as Individual classes of two and a half hours, totaling 8 lessons and 24 hours total. Methodologically, this study presents a qualitative approach, using the case study category to analyze the question of learning in environments. The objective of this study is to demonstrate how educational design strategies can be used in practice to structure the Computer Programming discipline project in order to enhance learning in the EAD mode. The construction of this learning will be supported by the use of digital communication resources of Web 2.0, allowing the construction of the personal learning network (PLE) of the apprentices in an interactionist and collaborative perspective. It is hoped that the application of educational design methodologies and strategies, combined with Web 2.0 resources and PLE, will help young people to acquire the desired skills, preparing them to qualify their insertion in the job market. |

El público objetivo son 25 jóvenes con edad media de 20 años, que se preparan para actuar en el área de Tecnología de la Información como programadores. Después de una formación básica de un semestre, se introducen al estudio de los lenguajes estructurados de programación de computadoras, en este caso específico el lenguaje de programación C. Después de la formación presencial, los alumnos tienen una disciplina en la modalidad EaD, que este proyecto de aprendizaje propone como clases individuales de dos horas y media, totalizando 8 lecciones y 24 horas totales. Metodológicamente, este estudio presenta abordaje cualitativo, utilizándose de la categoría estudio de caso para analizar la cuestión del aprendizaje en ambientes EaD. El objetivo de este estudio es demostrar cómo las estrategias del diseño educativo pueden ser utilizadas en la práctica para estructurar el proyecto de la disciplina Programación de Computadoras, de modo a potenciar el aprendizaje en la modalidad EaD. La construcción de este aprendizaje será apoyada por la utilización de recursos de comunicación digital de la Web 2.0, permitiendo la construcción de la red personal de aprendizaje (PLE) de los aprendices en una perspectiva interaccionista y colaborativa. Se espera que la aplicación de las metodologías y estrategias del diseño educativo, aliadas a los recursos de la Web 2.0 y al PLE, ayuden a los jóvenes en la adquisición de las competencias deseadas, preparándolos para calificar su inserción en el mercado de trabajo.O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar a concepção de um projeto de ensino de programação de computadores na modalidade Educação a Distância (EaD) para uma turma de alunos de um curso profissionalizante da cidade de Novo Hamburgo (RS). O público-alvo são 25 jovens com idade média de 20 anos, que se preparam para atuar na área de Tecnologia da Informação como programadores. Após uma formação básica de um semestre, são introduzidos ao estudo das linguagens estruturadas de programação de computadores, neste caso específico a linguagem de programação C. Após a formação presencial, os alunos têm uma disciplina na modalidade EaD, que este projeto de aprendizagem propõe como aulas individuais de duas horas e meia, totalizando 8 aulas e 24 horas totais. Metodologicamente, este estudo apresenta abordagem qualitativa, utilizando-se da categoria estudo de caso para analisar a questão da aprendizagem em ambientes EaD.
