Gamification as a teaching strategy for nursing technical level students

Resumo: Introduction: Active teaching and learning methodologies have been used in everyday school environments to better integrate students and develop critical thinking. This study has as a guiding question: How to apply gamification in the teaching of a technical nursing course? General Objective: To analyze the use of gamification as an active teaching-learning methodology strategy for technical nursing students. Specific objectives: Develop elements of game designers to teach nursing fundamentals to technical course students; apply gamification, in the form of a game board, as an active teaching methodology in the classroom according to the game elements elaborated; evaluate student learning in relation to the range of skills such as collaboration, leadership, creativity, among others necessary for understanding the content. Method: Qualitative, exploratory, and participatory approach. Which will take place in a private High School-Technical Institution, located in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. The research participants will be the students of a class who attend the Fundamentals of Nursing discipline. The research will be submitted to the Research Ethics Committee of the Universidade Federal Fluminense and the Municipal Health Department of the State of Rio de Janeiro. Workshops will be used as a data collection instrument. The treatment and analysis of the collected data will be worked through the technique of content analysis according to Bardin.

Este estudio tiene como pregunta orientadora: ¿Cómo aplicar la gamificación en la enseñanza de un curso técnico de enfermería? Objetivo General: Analizar el uso de la gamificación como estrategia metodológica activa de enseñanza-aprendizaje para estudiantes de enfermería técnica. Objetivos específicos: Desarrollar elementos de diseñadores de juegos para enseñar fundamentos de enfermería a estudiantes de cursos técnicos; aplicar la gamificación, en forma de tablero de juego, como metodología de enseñanza activa en el aula según los elementos de juego elaborados; evaluar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes en relación a la gama de habilidades como colaboración, liderazgo, creatividad, entre otras, necesarias para la comprensión del contenido. Método: Enfoque cualitativo, exploratorio y participativo. El cual tendrá como escenario una Escuela Superior-Institución Técnica privada, ubicada en la región metropolitana de Río de Janeiro. Los participantes de la investigación serán los estudiantes de una clase que cursan la disciplina Fundamentos de Enfermería. La investigación será sometida al Comité de Ética en Investigación de la Universidade Federal Fluminense ya la Secretaría Municipal de Salud del Estado de Rio de Janeiro. Los talleres se utilizarán como instrumento de recopilación de datos. El tratamiento y análisis de los datos recabados se trabajará mediante la técnica de análisis de contenido según Bardin.Introdução: As metodologias ativas de ensino e aprendizagem vem sendo utilizadas no cotidiano de ambientes escolares de forma a integralizar mais os alunos e a desenvolver o pensamento crítico. Este estudo traz como questão norteadora: Como aplicar gamificação no ensino de um curso técnico de enfermagem? Objetivo Geral: Analisar o uso de gamificação como estratégia de metodologia ativa de ensino-aprendizagem para alunos de curso técnico de enfermagem. Objetivos específicos: Elaborar elementos de designers de game para o ensino de fundamentos de enfermagem em alunos de curso técnico; aplicar a gamificação, nos moldes de um tabuleiro de jogo, como metodologia ativa de ensino em sala de aula conforme os elementos de game elaborados; avaliar a aprendizagem dos estudantes em relação ao alcance de competências como colaboração, liderança, criatividade entre outras necessárias para compreensão do conteúdo. Método: Abordagem qualitativa, do tipo exploratória e participativa. Que terá como cenário uma Instituição de Ensino Médio- Técnico privada, localizada na região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro. Os participantes da pesquisa serão os alunos de uma turma que cursam a disciplina de Fundamentos de Enfermagem. A pesquisa será submetida à apreciação do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da Universidade Federal Fluminense e da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Como instrumento de coleta de dados será utilizado oficinas.
