History of Chemistry in Pedagogical Projects in Chemistry Graduation Courses in Universities of Ceará

Resumo: Chemistry as Science has been conceived and established throughout its development based on social and historical concerns and it is essential to recognize this in order to overcome the ready and finished perception of Science. The main question in this research is to identify how the Chemistry teacher training courses present the History of Chemistry as a subject in their curriculum? Our general objective was to verify the presence of the subject History of Chemistry in the early training of Chemistry teachers, through the analysis of its organization in the PPPs of the Chemistry Graduation Courses in Public Universities of the State of Ceará. The research had a qualitative preference, with the Documental Research being used as a method. The PPPs analyzed, as a reference for the teaching profession, need to be reconsidered with regards to the presence of the History of Chemistry subject, which has to be integrated with the skills and abilities required from the undergraduate student, its compulsory nature, content and course duration, in order to provide reliable training in the History of Chemistry in the undergraduate student's curriculum. It is imperative to provide a means of overcoming the discrepancies identified in several PPPs analyzed, how to make the History of Chemistry curricular component mandatory during the course, with the premise of a work focused on the historiography of Chemistry, since training critical and reflexive teachers requires a teacher with the same attributes, in addition to confidence and pedagogical accuracy, enabling future chemistry teachers to be able to incorporate the didactic transposition of knowledge into their teaching in High School.

Planteamos como una pregunta central de esta encuesta para saber cómo los cursos de formación de profesores de Química presentan en su estructura curricular la Historia de la Química como asignatura. Nuestro objetivo general fue investigar la presencia de la asignatura curricular de História da Química en la formación inicial de los profesores de Química, a través del análisis de su estructura en los PPP de los Programas de Licenciatura en Química de las universidades públicas del Estado de Ceará. La investigación tuvo un predominio cualitativo, eligiendo Document Research como método. Los PPP analizados, como una guía para la enseñanza, deben ser repensados ​​con respecto a la presencia de la disciplina de Historia de la Química, que debe articularse con las competencias y habilidades requeridas del titular de la licencia, su naturaleza obligatoria, menú y carga de trabajo, para proporcionar una capacitación segura en cuanto a la Historiografía de la química en el currículo de estudiantes de pregrado. Es urgente buscar formas de superar las contradicciones observadas en las diversas PPP analizadas, cómo hacer obligatorio el componente curricular de Historia de la Química durante el curso, con la premisa de un trabajo centrado en la historiografía de la Química, ya que la capacitación de maestros críticos y reflexivos requiere una enseñanza con las mismas características, además de seguridad y rigor pedagógico, capaces de hacer que los futuros profesores de Química se sientan capaces de llevar a cabo la transposición didáctica del conocimiento en sus clases de enseñanza mediana.Compreender que a Química como Ciência foi sendo constituída e construída ao longo de sua existência, a partir de questões sociais e históricas, é imprescindível para superação da visão pronta e acabada da Ciência. Suscitamos como questão central desta pesquisa saber como os cursos de formação de professores de Química apresentam em sua estrutura curricular a História da Química como disciplina? Nosso objetivo geral foi investigar a presença da disciplina curricular História da Química na formação inicial de professores de Química, através da análise de sua estruturação nos PPP das Licenciaturas em Química das Universidades Públicas do Estado do Ceará. A pesquisa teve uma predominância qualitativa, escolhendo-se como método a Pesquisa Documental. Os PPP analisados, como norte do fazer docente, precisam ser repensados quanto à presença da disciplina História da Química, que deve se articular com as competências e habilidades exigidas do licenciando, sua obrigatoriedade, ementa e carga horária, de forma a proporcionar uma formação segura quanto à Historiografia da Química no currículo dos licenciandos.
