Environmental Education in times of the Covid-19 Pandemic: contributions of the Pedagogical Workshop in Emergency Remote Teaching

Resumo: Promoting Environmental Education (EE) in times of a pandemic along with educational practices supports citizen training, demystifying pedagogical knowledge in both formal and non-formal environments. Thus, the present article addressed the use of the Pedagogical Workshop for the production of organic fertilizer and alternative teaching resources from the treatment and recycling of domestic solid waste, having as a differential the insertion of Digital Technologies in the period of Emergency Remote Teaching. Methodologically, the research had a qualitative-quantitative and experimental character. The results showed that the workshops achieved their objectives, effectively contributing to the promotion of EE, allowing, in addition to critical and reflective discussion about the environmental reality, allowing learning in the practice of disposal and reuse of solid waste. Therefore, the academic actions were sustainable, feasible and punctual in this research.

Así, el presente artículo abordó el uso del Taller Pedagógico para la producción de abono orgánico y recursos didácticos alternativos a partir del tratamiento y reciclaje de residuos sólidos domésticos, teniendo como diferencial la inserción de las Tecnologías Digitales en el período de la Enseñanza a Distancia de Emergencia. Metodológicamente, la investigación tuvo un carácter cualitativo-cuantitativo y experimental. Los resultados mostraron que los talleres lograron sus objetivos, contribuyendo efectivamente a la promoción de la EA, permitiendo, además de la discusión crítica y reflexiva sobre la realidad ambiental, posibilitando el aprendizaje en la práctica de disposición y reutilización de residuos sólidos. Por lo tanto, las acciones académicas fueron sostenibles, factibles y puntuales en esta investigación.Promover em tempos de Pandemia a Educação Ambiental (EA) junto às práticas educativas corrobora para a formação cidadã, desmitificando os saberes pedagógicos tanto em ambientes formais quanto não formais. Assim, o presente artigo abordou o uso da oficina pedagógica para produção de adubo orgânico e recursos didáticos alternativos a partir do tratamento e reciclagem de resíduos sólidos domésticos, tendo como diferencial a inserção Tecnologias Digitais no período do Ensino Remoto Emergencial. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa teve um caráter quali-quantitativo e experimental. Os resultados apontaram que as oficinas alcançaram seus objetivos, contribuindo efetivamente para a promoção da EA, possibilitando, além da discussão crítica e reflexiva sobre a realidade ambiental, permitindo aprender na prática de descarte e reutilização dos resíduos sólidos.
