Limits and possibilities of the application of the Administration in a public leisure policy

In view of the creation of public policies to meet the social right to leisure, the volume and relevance of the knowledge produced in the implementation, it is important to think about strategies to manage the acquired knowledge. The aim of this study was to analyze the limits and possibilities of the application of Knowledge Management in a public leisure policy. A qualitative research was carried out and the data were collected through the survey methodology. The limits found were: “training of agents”, “physical structure”, “team discontinuity”, “time” and “lack of systematization”. The possibilities found were: "Systematization", "Continuity and Complementarity" and "Access to lessons learned". For each of the limits, ways to minimize and for each possibility, ways of potentiation were pointed out. It is concluded that the State needs to face Knowledge Management as a strategy capable of qualifying public policies, considering the needs and responses of the beneficiary public.
