Resumo: | Objective: to promote reflection on the skills of nurses in the field of dermatology. Method: it is a theoretical reflection based on a bibliographic research for theoretical foundation. Result: In the multifaceted reality of daily nursing, nurses are agents of the health work process, with general training. One of the challenges has been to face a diversity of situations that are not always able to intervene resolutely, a reality that leads the category to face ethical and moral dilemmas. In this context, it is highlighted that dermatological diseases are among the three main demands for seeking health services, requiring nurses to have skills in prevention, treatment and recovery. Another aspect that affects the quality of care for this specific clientele is related to the training of specialists in dermatology, since the syllabus of the courses focus on topics related to the treatment of wounds, neglecting the care of people with skin disorders, a fact that makes assistance difficult. dignified and risk-free to this specific clientele. Conclusion: In order to guarantee the quality of skin care, it is necessary for the professional nurse to have a set of knowledge, skills and abilities for adequate preparation of the environment, comprehensive assessment of the person; consistent selection of resources and products; implementation of protocols and guides, in addition to conducting research with significant levels of evidence among this specific clientele. It is believed to be essential to establish the skills and abilities of the specialist nurse in dermatology in Brazil so that training programs can align with the defined proposals. |

Resultado: En la realidad multifacética de la enfermería diaria, las enfermeras son agentes del proceso de trabajo en salud, con formación general. Uno de los desafíos ha sido enfrentar una diversidad de situaciones que no siempre son capaces de intervenir de manera decidida, realidad que lleva a la categoría a enfrentar dilemas éticos y morales. En este contexto, se destaca que las enfermedades dermatológicas se encuentran entre las tres principales demandas para la búsqueda de servicios de salud, requiriendo que el enfermero tenga habilidades en prevención, tratamiento y recuperación. Otro aspecto que incide en la calidad de la atención de esta clientela específica está relacionado con la formación de especialistas en dermatología, ya que el temario de los cursos se enfoca en temas relacionados con el tratamiento de heridas, descuidando el cuidado de personas con trastornos de la piel, hecho que dificulta la asistencia. digno y sin riesgos para esta clientela específica. Conclusión: Para garantizar la calidad del cuidado de la piel, es necesario que el profesional enfermero cuente con un conjunto de conocimientos, destrezas y habilidades para una adecuada preparación del entorno, valoración integral de la persona; selección constante de recursos y productos; implementación de protocolos y guías, además de realizar investigaciones con niveles significativos de evidencia entre esta clientela específica. Se cree que es fundamental establecer las habilidades y habilidades del enfermero especialista en dermatología en Brasil para que los programas de formación se alineen con las propuestas definidas.Objetivo: promover a reflexão sobre as competências do enfermeiro na área de dermatologia. Método: trata-se de uma reflexão teórica baseada em uma pesquisa bibliográfica para fundamentação teórica. Resultado: na realidade multifacetada do cotidiano da enfermagem, o enfermeiro é um agente do processo de trabalho em saúde, com formação generalista. Um dos desafios tem sido se defrontar com uma diversidade de situações que nem sempre é capaz de intervir com resolutividade, realidade que leva a categoria enfrentar dilemas de ordem ética e moral. Nesse contexto, destaca-se que as doenças dermatológicas estão entre as três principais demandas de busca aos serviços de saúde, exigindo do enfermeiro competências para prevenção, tratamento e recuperação. Outro aspecto que prejudica a qualidade de atendimento a esta clientela específica relaciona-se à formação dos especialistas em dermatologia, pois os conteúdos programáticos dos cursos privilegiam temas relacionados ao tratamento de feridas, preterindo os cuidados às pessoas com afecções cutâneas, fato que dificulta a assistência digna e livre de riscos a esta clientela específica. Conclusão: para garantir a qualidade do cuidado da pele, torna-se necessário ao profissional enfermeiro um conjunto de saberes, habilidades e capacidades para adequado preparo do ambiente, avaliação integral da pessoa; seleção coerente de recursos e produtos; implementação de protocolos e guias, além da realização de pesquisas com níveis de evidências significativos junto a esta clientela específica.
