Resumo: This review has to objective to interpret analyze the work, "A Ialorixá e o Pajé", by writer Maria Stella de Azevedo Santos, released in 2018 by Solisluna, from the perspective of care and interpersonal relationships between health care professionals and the care offered through of plants in indigenous and African culture. The work also discusses racism in professional relationships that health visitor Maria Stella faced in her professional career. Marked by a reading without technical terms, the book can be appreciated by health professionals, children and adolescents, readers interested in interdisciplinary care, racism and indigenous care. It adds knowledge to the area of health care, herbal medicine, racism, nursing, in addition to contributing to the search for knowledge in the culture of indigenous care. As applied methodology, it was decided to carry out an interpretive analysis of the book and its respective messages.

As applied methodology, it was decided to carry out an interpretive analysis of the book and its respective messages.Esta revisión tiene como objetivo interpretar y analizar el trabajo, "A Ialorixá e o Pajé", de la escritora Maria Stella de Azevedo Santos, lanzado en 2018 por Solisluna, desde la perspectiva del cuidado y las relaciones interpersonales entre los profesionales de la salud y el cuidado ofrecido a través de las plantas en la cultura indígena y africana. El trabajo también discute el racismo en las relaciones profesionales que la visitante sanitaria Maria Stella enfrentó en su carrera profesional. Marcado por una lectura sin términos técnicos, el libro puede ser apreciado por profesionales de la salud, público juvenil infantil, lectores interesados en la interdisciplinariedad en el cuidado, el racismo y la atención indígena.  Conocimiento soma para el área de atención de salud, fitoterapia, racismo, enfermería además de contribuir a la búsqueda de conocimiento en la cultura del cuidado indígena. Como metodología aplicada, se decidió realizar un análisis interpretativo del libro y sus respectivos mensajes.A presente resenha tem por objetivo de interpretar e analisar a obra, “A Ialorixá e o Pajé”, da escritora Maria Stella de Azevedo Santos, lançado em 2018 pela editora Solisluna, na perspectiva do cuidar e nas relações interpessoais entre profissionais da assistência à saúde e os cuidados oferecidos através das plantas na cultura indígena e africana. A obra discute ainda o racismo nas relações profissionais que a visitadora sanitária Maria Stella enfrentou em sua trajetória profissional. Marcada por uma leitura sem termos técnicos, o livro pode ser apreciado por profissionais da área de saúde, público infanto juvenil, leitores que se interessem por interdisciplinaridade no cuidar, racismo e cuidados indígenas. Soma saberes para a área do cuidar em saúde, fitoterapia, racismo, enfermagem além de contribuir para busca de conhecimentos em cultura dos cuidados indígenas.
