Resumo: This article aims to construct an overview of the research on self-regulation of learning (ARA) in college students. To do so, it is configured as a Systematic Review of Literature, covering the period 2007 to 2019, covering national and international articles, Capes, SciELO, LILACS and REDALYC Periodical databases. For data analysis, it applies the Content Analysis of Bardin (1977), using the Iramuteq software. It analyzes a total of 22 articles, being the majority (86.36%) empirical, and only 13,64% theoretical. Of the empirical ones, 36.36% were qualitative, 31.82% quantitative and 22.73% opted for the two approaches. It is suggested that future researches investigate the ARA promotion strategies of teachers in training, addressing qualitative and quantitative techniques to more broadly dimension the object of study.
