Remote learning in pandemic times: reflections on teaching practice

Resumo: This study aims to analyze teachers' perceptions about the practices adopted in distance education during the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We carried out qualitative research using an online questionnaire to teachers of different educational levels. With this, we perceive an intensification of the difficulties related mainly to accessing and using technologies for educational purposes. These challenges reveal the weaknesses of Brazilian education in terms of its relationship with digital tools since it was possible to detect the lack of teacher training for using these resources. In conclusion, we understand that the teaching posture is decisive for the achievement of educational objectives. Therefore, we suggest deepening discussions on this issue to subsidize studies that contribute to the development of policies oriented to teaching during the period of isolation by COVID-19.

Realizamos una investigación cualitativa mediante un cuestionario online a profesores de diferentes niveles educativos. Con esto, percibimos una intensificación de las dificultades relacionadas principalmente con el acceso y uso de tecnologías con fines educativos. Estos desafíos revelan las debilidades de la educación brasileña en términos de su relación con las herramientas digitales, ya que se pudo detectar la falta de formación docente para el uso de estos recursos. En conclusión, entendemos que la postura docente es determinante para el logro de los objetivos educativos. Por ello, sugerimos profundizar las discusiones sobre este tema para subsidiar estudios que contribuyan al desarrollo de políticas orientadas a la docencia durante el período de aislamiento por COVID-19.Este estudo objetivou analisar as percepções dos docentes quanto às práticas adotadas no ensino remoto durante a pandemia do novo coronavírus - COVID-19. Foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa com aplicação de questionário on-line - Google Forms a professores de diferentes níveis de ensino. De acordo com os discursos dos docentes, percebemos uma intensificação das dificuldades relacionadas especialmente ao acesso e ao uso dos recursos tecnológicos para fins educacionais. Esses desafios descortinam as fragilidades da educação brasileira sobre a sua relação com as ferramentas digitais uma vez que foi possível detectar a carência de capacitação docente para o uso desses recursos.
