Resumo: | COVID called SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2) emerged in late December 2019, which quickly became a global pandemic. COVID-19 is characterized by presenting as an acute respiratory infection that progresses rapidly and can lead the patient to severe or critical conditions. It is aimed to know the scientific evidence on nursing care to patients with COVID-19 in intensive care units in the period from 2020 to 2021. This is a descriptive, exploratory research with a qualitative approach of the Integrative Literature Review (ILR) type. With the emergence of a new disease, there was a need for nursing professionals working in ICUs to make several changes and adaptations necessary to provide assistance to patients and simultaneous protection of professionals. The nursing professionals perform all the care based on scientific evidence and recommendations of the competent organs worldwide and nationally in the fight against COVID-19. |

La COVID-19 se caracteriza por presentarse como una infección respiratoria aguda que progresa rápidamente y puede llevar al paciente a condiciones graves o críticas. El objetivo es conocer las evidencias científicas sobre los cuidados de enfermería a pacientes con COVID-19 en unidades de terapia intensiva en el periodo de 2020 a 2021. Se trata de una investigación descriptiva y exploratoria con un enfoque cualitativo del tipo Revisión Integradora de la Literatura (ILR). Con el surgimiento de una nueva enfermedad, los profesionales de la enfermería necesitan realizar diversos cambios y adaptaciones necesarios que proporcionen asistencia a los pacientes y protección simultánea a los profesionales. Los profesionales de enfermería realizan todos los cuidados basándose en la evidencia científica y en las recomendaciones de los organismos competentes a nivel mundial y nacional en la lucha contra el COVID-19.A COVID denominado SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavírus 2) surgiu no final de dezembro de 2019, que rapidamente transformou-se em uma pandemia global. A COVID-19 é caracterizada por se apresentar como uma infecção respiratória aguda que progride rapidamente, podendo levar o paciente a condições graves ou críticas. Objetiva-se conhecer as evidências científicas sobre cuidados de enfermagem a pacientes com COVID-19 em unidades de terapia intensiva no período de 2020 a 2021. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, exploratória, com abordagem qualitativa do tipo Revisão Integrativa de Literatura (RIL). Mediante ao surgimento de uma nova doença houve a necessidade dos profissionais de enfermagem, atuantes nas UTI’s realizarem diversas mudanças e adaptações necessárias que proporcionassem uma assistência aos pacientes e proteção simultânea dos profissionais.
