The answers to closed questions, were analyzed based on descriptive statistics, through percentages, and the justifications for the answers to open questions through content analysis. The students entering in 2019 in the Agricultural Engineering course at the researched University were between 17 and 24 years old, with a predominance of male students, the majority of whom were from the state of Tocantins. It was not found in the study the influence of the parents' profession for the choice of the course, since most of the parents of these students work in varied activities and not linked to the agricultural / rural environment, however the choice of Agronomic Engineering by half of the students interviewed was a matter of affinity, and they are satisfied with the beginning of the course. In addition, most students mentioned that after graduating, they intend to work as Agricultural Engineers in state, with the expectation that the course will prepare them for the job market. |

Research, Society and Development2020-05-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/463910.33448/rsd-v9i7.4639Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 7; e654974639Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 7; e654974639Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 7; e6549746392525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/4639/4046Copyright (c) 2020 Deyla Paula de Oliveira, Michele Ribeiro Ramos, Eder Caglioniinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessOliveira, Deyla Paula deRamos, Michele RibeiroCaglioni, Eder2020-08-20T18:05:03Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/4639Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:28:25.447322Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false |
