Cultural studies and physical education: a mapping from the Portal de Periódicos Capes

Resumo: The research aimed to investigate the thematization of Cultural Studies in the production of knowledge in Physical Education from periodicals indexed in the Portal de Periódicos Capes. Methodologically, documentary analysis was performed on the referred platform, which led to the finding of 20 articles that pointed to the proposal to be investigated. From the analyzes, the following categories were constructed: school and curriculum; training and university; gender and sexuality; and, media studies. As a result, it was possible to identify that the assumptions of Cultural Studies in the field of Physical Education emerge as a field that helps in the understanding of different identities that make up different bodily manifestations.

Metodológicamente, el análisis documental se realizó en la plataforma referida, lo que condujo al hallazgo de 20 artículos que apuntaban a la propuesta a investigar. A partir de los análisis, se construyeron las siguientes categorías: escuela y plan de estudios; formación y universidad; género y sexualidad; y, estudios de medios. Como resultado, fue posible identificar que los supuestos de los Estudios Culturales en el campo de la Educación Física emergen como un campo que ayuda en la comprensión de las diferentes identidades que conforman diferentes manifestaciones corporales.A pesquisa objetivou investigar a tematização dos Estudos Culturais na produção de conhecimento em Educação Física a partir de periódicos indexados na Plataforma Periódicos Capes. Metodologicamente, foi realizada análise documental na referida plataforma, o que levou a constatação de 20 artigos que apontaram para a proposta a ser investigada. A partir das análises, foram construídas as seguintes categorias: escola e currículo; formação e universidade; gênero e sexualidade; e, estudos de mídia.
