Resumo: The present work describes an action developed by the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships, of the Chemistry Degree course at the Federal University of Santa Maria in a public school, where a thematic workshop entitled “The Chemistry present in the Electronic Devices” was held. It consists of an exploratory qualitative research that aimed to work with different didactic resources, aiming to provide students with contextualized and interdisciplinary learning of chemical concepts. This argument is based on the defense of the need to introduce, in the classroom, pedagogical instruments and methodologies that allow the qualification of the use of chemical language by students. For that, we used some didactic resources for the development of the workshop, among them are: demonstrative lecture with the aid of experimentation, reading and discussion of Scientific Dissemination Materials, the application of a didactic game and the creation of posters aimed at raising awareness of students regarding the correct disposal of electronic waste.

Consiste en una investigación exploratoria cualitativa cuyo objetivo es trabajar con diferentes recursos didácticos, con el objetivo de proporcionar a los estudiantes un aprendizaje contextualizado e interdisciplinario de conceptos químicos. Este argumento se basa en la defensa de la necesidad de introducir, en el aula, instrumentos y metodologías pedagógicas que permitan la calificación del uso del lenguaje químico por parte de los alumnos. Para ello, utilizamos algunos recursos didácticos para el desarrollo del taller, entre ellos se encuentran: clase expositiva demostrativa con la ayuda de la experimentación, lectura y discusión de materiales de divulgación científica, la aplicación de un juego didáctico y la creación de carteles destinados a crear conciencia. de estudiantes con respecto a la eliminación correcta de desechos electrónicos.O presente trabalho descreve uma ação desenvolvida pelo Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência, do curso de Química Licenciatura da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria em uma escola pública, onde foi realizada uma oficina temática intitulada “A Química presente nos Aparelhos Eletrônicos”. Consiste em uma pesquisa descritiva explicativa de cunho qualitativo que teve por objetivo trabalhar com diferentes recursos didáticos, visando proporcionar aos estudantes uma aprendizagem contextualizada e interdisciplinar dos conceitos químicos. Neste argumento está alicerçada a defesa da necessidade de, na sala de aula, introduzir instrumentos e metodologias pedagógicas que permitam a qualificação do uso da linguagem química pelos estudantes.
