Resumo: | This search was developed in theoretical and methodological perspective of ethnomathematics and aims to analyze the measurement methods used by area farmers cubadores land in the municipality of Pacajá - PA compared with the methods of school mathematics. The Ethnomathematics can be used as a tool in the teaching-learning can facilitate inter-relationship between school mathematics and the mathematics used in the daily life of students of the field process. This research had as its theme the scaling of earth, as it is extremely relevant. This theme is part of the daily lives of students and families in the Rural Family House Pacajá. For this survey we used measurement models used by farmers calling themselves cubadores land. From the comparison made between the methods of school mathematics and the methods used by cubadores land came to the conclusion that the mathematics used by them is important not because it approach the math taught in school, but for all the knowledge that was passed to generation to generation and is part of the daily lives of students and their families. It is the knowledge of cubadores of land that should be recognized. |

It is the knowledge of cubadores of land that should be recognized.Esta investigación se desarrolló desde la perspectiva teórico-metodológica de la Etnomatemática y tiene como objetivo analizar los métodos de medición de área utilizados por los agricultores ocupantes del municipio de Pacajá - PA en comparación con los métodos de la matemática escolar. Las etnomatemáticas pueden ser utilizadas como una herramienta en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje capaz de facilitar la interrelación entre las matemáticas escolares y las matemáticas utilizadas en la vida cotidiana de los estudiantes rurales. Esta investigación tuvo como tema el cubo de tierra, ya que es un tema de relevancia. Este tema forma parte del día a día de los estudiantes y familias de la Casa Familiar Rural de Pacajá. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, utilizamos modelos de medición utilizados por agricultores que se autodenominan land cubers. De la comparación realizada entre los métodos de las matemáticas escolares y los métodos utilizados por los excavadores de tierras, llegamos a la conclusión de que las matemáticas utilizadas por ellos son importantes no porque se acerquen a las matemáticas que se enseñan en la escuela, sino por todo un conocimiento que fue transmitido de generación en generación y eso es parte de la vida diaria de los estudiantes y sus familias. Es el conocimiento de los excavadores de tierra lo que debe ser reconocido.Esta pesquisa foi desenvolvida na perspectiva teórico-metodológica da Etnomatemática e tem como objetivo analisar as Técnicas de medição de área utilizados por agricultores cubadores de terra do município de Pacajá - PA em comparação com os métodos da Matemática escolar. A Etnomatemática pode ser usada como uma ferramenta do processo de ensino-aprendizagem capaz de facilitar a inter-relação entre a matemática escolar e a matemática utilizada no cotidiano dos alunos do campo. Essa pesquisa teve como tema a cubagem de terra, visto que é um tema de relevância. Esse tema faz parte do cotidiano dos alunos e famílias da Casa Familiar Rural de Pacajá. Para a realização dessa pesquisa utilizamos modelos de medição utilizados pelos agricultores que se autodenominam cubadores de terra. A partir da comparação feita entre os métodos da matemática escolar e os métodos utilizados pelos cubadores de terra chegamos à conclusão de que a matemática utilizada por eles é importante não porque se aproxima da matemática ensinada na escola, mas por todo um conhecimento que foi passado de geração em geração e que faz parte do cotidiano dos alunos e de seus familiares.
