Educational technologies in times of social isolation: a research with teachers

Resumo: | Educational technologies do not present themselves as unprecedented in this second decade of the century, however, the use of it may be unprecedented for many teachers in 2020 due to the presence of the world pandemic, known as COVID-19. The need for social isolation forced even many education professionals to adapt to the use of technological tools in the teaching-learning process. The objective of the research is to analyze the methodological process used by a group of teachers from the IFSC-Araranguá in time of COVID-19, proposing to identify the best teaching tools. The theoretical basis addresses teaching methods with a focus on technological use, as well as the profile of the teacher and student in this process. The methodology used is qualitative research and the results obtained address teachers' perceptions in relation to the methods used in education in times of pandemic, teaching-student relationship in relation to online education methods and expectations of the future of education. It is concluded that the answers obtained lead to the strengthening of the already disseminated idea that it will not return to what was called "normal", but rather if it is building together a "new normal", also in the educational area. |

Sin embargo, el uso de ellas puede ser inédito para muchos profesores en 2020 por la presencia de la pandemia mundial, conocida como COVID-19. La necesidad del aislamiento social ha forzado muchos profesionales de la educación a la adecuación del uso de herramientas tecnológicas en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. El objetivo de la investigación es analizar el proceso metodológico utilizado por un grupo de profesores del Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina de Araranguá (IFSC-Araranguá) en tiempos de COVID-19, planteando identificar las mejores herramientas de enseñanza. La base teórica tiene por base métodos de enseñanza con énfasis en el uso tecnológico, así como describir el perfil del profesor y estudiante en ese proceso. La metodología utilizada es investigación cualitativa y los resultados traen percepciones de los profesores a respecto de los métodos utilizados en la educación en tiempos de pandemia, relación de enseñanza y aprendizaje del alumno delante a los métodos de educación online y expectativas en relación al futuro de la educación. Se concluye que las respuestas obtenidas llevan al fortalecimiento de la idea ya difundida de que no hay vuelta atrás al que se chamaba de "normal", pero, sí, se está construyendo un "nuevo normal", también en el área educacional.As tecnologias educacionais não se apresentam com ineditismo nesta segunda década do século. No entanto, o uso delas pode ser inédito para muitos professores em 2020 pela presença da pandemia mundial, conhecida como COVID-19. A necessidade do isolamento social forçou muitos profissionais da educação a se adequarem ao uso das ferramentas tecnológicas no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. O objetivo da pesquisa é o de analisar o processo metodológico utilizado por um grupo de professores do Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina de Araranguá (IFSC-Araranguá) em tempos de COVID-19, propondo identificar as melhores ferramentas de ensino. A base teórica aborda sobre métodos de ensino com foco ao uso tecnológico, bem como o perfil do professor e estudante nesse processo. A metodologia utilizada é a pesquisa qualitativa e os resultados obtidos abordam sobre percepções dos professores em relação aos métodos utilizados na educação em tempos de pandemia, relação de ensino aprendizagem do aluno diante os métodos de educação online e expectativas em relação ao futuro da educação.
