Work nurse in the prevention of occupational biological risks: a literature review in the hospital area

Resumo: The occupational nurse significantly attributes to the hospital the development of actions for safety measures, detection and minimization of occupational risks according to the activity performed and the biological injuries to which nursing professionals are exposed, with the objective to improve working conditions. This is a bibliographic research with a qualitative approach, with the objective of describing the work nurse's work to reduce biological risk in the hospital environment. After the association of all descriptors, 151 articles were found, 138 were excluded and 13 were selected. After the reflective reading, four categories emerged: Main biological adverse events; The Labor Nurse in the prevention of occupational risks. Among the risks to which workers are exposed, hospital infection, the potential transmission of Acquired Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Hepatitis C (HCV), in addition to other harmful occurrences, stand out worker's health. The role of the work nurse has undergone transformations and evolutions, being today considered a professional of extreme importance for any organization, as through his guidance and attention, accidents and occupational diseases are prevented and the health promotion of workers is also prevented workers. It is concluded that the nurse has training focused on management in addition to being able to perform procedures of lesser and greater complexity as well as prescribing actions, adopting universal precautionary measures for biosafety. Its performance includes strategic planning, which facilitates the development of occupational accidents research and, consequently, their prevention.

Esta es una investigación bibliográfica con un enfoque cualitativo, con el objetivo de describir el trabajo de la enfermera para reducir el riesgo biológico en el entorno hospitalario. Después de la asociación de todos los descriptores, se encontraron 151 artículos, se excluyeron 138 y se seleccionaron 13. Después de la lectura reflexiva, surgieron cuatro categorías: principales eventos adversos biológicos; La enfermera laboral en la prevención de riesgos laborales. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica de abordagem qualitativa, com objetivo de descrever a atuação do enfermeiro do trabalho para a redução do risco biológico no âmbito hospitalar. Após a associação de todos os descritores foram encontrados 151 artigos, excluídos 138 e selecionados 13. Posterior à leitura reflexiva emergiram quatro categorias: Principais eventos adversos biológicos; O Enfermeiro do Trabalho na prevenção dos riscos ocupacionais. Dentre os riscos a que os trabalhadores estão expostos ressalta-se a infecção hospitalar, a potencial transmissão do Vírus da Imunodeficiência Adquirida (HIV), do Vírus da Hepatite B (HBV) e da Hepatite C (HCV), além de outras ocorrências danosas a saúde do trabalhador. O papel do Enfermeiro do trabalho passou por transformações e evoluções, sendo hoje considerado um profissional de extrema importância para qualquer organização, à medida que por meio de sua orientação e atenção, seja prevenido os acidentes e doenças laborais e também aconteça a promoção da saúde dos trabalhadores. Conclui-se que o enfermeiro tem a formação voltada para o gerenciamento além de estar apto a realizar procedimentos de menor e maior complexidade bem como prescrever ações, adotando medidas de precaução universal de biossegurança.
