Peer and self-evaluation using active teaching method

Resumo: | Nowadays, new methodologies have been used to complementing and assisting in the fixation of knowledge. So, the aim of this work was apply a active education methods using a study case methodology to assess the critical competence in objective and subjective assessments and self-assessment, and to analyze the results obtained in a qualitative way. Students developed content, presented seminars, evaluate their peers objectively (assigning grades) and subjective (selecting according to preference) and also performed the self-assessment. Based on the grades attributed by the students, the ability to evaluate by peers by comparing variances was evaluated. From the results obtained, we can conclude that there is a mutual influence on the two types of evaluations used in this research. Students were able to evaluate their peers and also self-evaluation. There is consistency between different evaluators and also when compared to self-criticism. From the research on the experience of active teaching, it is possible to observe the growing preference of students for this teaching methodology. |

Por lo tanto, el objetivo de este trabajo fue aplicar métodos de educación activa utilizando una metodología de caso de estudio para evaluar la competencia crítica en evaluaciones objetivas y subjetivas y autoevaluación, y para analizar los resultados obtenidos de manera cualitativa. Los estudiantes desarrollaron contenido, presentaron seminarios, evaluaron a sus compañeros objetivamente (asignando calificaciones) y subjetivo (seleccionando de acuerdo con sus preferencias) y también realizaron la autoevaluación. Con base en las calificaciones atribuidas por los estudiantes, se evaluó la capacidad de evaluar por pares comparando las variaciones. De los resultados obtenidos, podemos concluir que existe una influencia mutua en los dos tipos de evaluaciones utilizadas en esta investigación. Los estudiantes pudieron evaluar a sus compañeros y también la autoevaluación. Hay coherencia entre los diferentes evaluadores y también en comparación con la autocrítica. A partir de la investigación sobre la experiencia de la enseñanza activa, es posible observar la creciente preferencia de los estudiantes por esta metodología de enseñanza.Novas metodologias têm surgido com o objetivo de complementar e auxiliar na fixação dos conhecimentos, entre elas os métodos de educação ativa. O objetivo deste trabalho foi empregar uma ferramenta de educação ativa por meio de metodologia de estudo de caso. Assim, avaliar a competência crítica utilizada em avaliações objetivas, subjetivas, a autoavaliação e analisar os resultados obtidos de maneira qualitativa. Os alunos desenvolveram conteúdo para apresentar em forma de seminários, instruídos a avaliar seus pares de forma objetiva (atribuindo notas) e subjetiva (selecionando de acordo com preferência) e também realizaram a autoavaliação. Avaliou-se a partir das notas atribuídas pelos alunos, a capacidade de avaliação por pares por meio de comparação de variâncias. A partir dos resultados obtidos, podemos concluir que há mútua influência sobre os dois tipos de avaliações empregadas nesta pesquisa. Os alunos se apresentaram aptos a avaliar seus pares e também a autoavaliação. Há coerência entre diferentes avaliadores e também quando comparado à autocrítica.
