Enrollments for Special Education in Technical Vocational Education at Medium Level in the State of Amapá (2015-2018)

Resumo: According to the statistical notes of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), the number of enrollments for Special Education students increased in 2018 by 33.2% compared to 2014 in Brazil. This article aimed to verify the enrollment rate of Special Education (students from special schools, special classes and included) in Technical Education for Secondary Education in the State of Amapá- Brazil (2015-2018). Methodologically, data were collected on the Inep website and bibliographic research, with an approach that involves mixed methods. In the results, there was an increase in enrollment in the courses integrated in the federal network, while in the concomitant and subsequent courses the rate of increase occurred in the state network. On the other hand, in Youth and Adult Education (EJA), in turn, there was only registration of enrollments in the face-to-face federal network. It is concluded that schools need to be prepared to serve the public of special education, so that they can guarantee an inclusive quality education. For this, greater public investments in education in the north of the country are needed. In addition to national and state commitment, in the development of research that can map the theme of special education in its relation to levels, stages and other teaching modalities (such as EJA), respecting the socioeconomic and cultural differences of the Brazilian regions, as well as its possible educational strengths and weaknesses.

Este artículo tuvo como objetivo verificar la tasa de matriculación de Educación Especial (estudiantes de escuelas especiales, clases especiales e incluidas) en Educación Técnica para Educación Secundaria en el Estado de Amapá- Brasil (2015-2018). Metodológicamente, los datos se recopilaron en el sitio web de Inep y en la investigación bibliográfica, con un enfoque que involucra métodos mixtos. En los resultados, hubo un aumento en la inscripción en cursos integrados en la red federal, mientras que en los cursos concomitantes y posteriores, la tasa de aumento se produjo en la red estatal. Por otro lado, en Educación para Jóvenes y Adultos (EJA), a su vez, solo hubo registro de inscripciones en la red federal presencial. Se concluye que las escuelas deben estar preparadas para servir al público en educación especial, de modo que puedan garantizar una educación inclusiva y de calidad. Para esto, se necesitan mayores inversiones públicas en educación en el norte del país. Además del compromiso nacional y estatal, en el desarrollo de investigaciones que puedan mapear el tema de la educación especial en su relación con los niveles, etapas y otras modalidades de enseñanza (como EJA), respetando las diferencias socioeconómicas y culturales de las regiones brasileñas, así como sus posibles fortalezas y debilidades educativas.De acordo com as notas estatísticas do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep), o número de matrículas de alunos da Educação Especial teve um aumento em 2018 de 33,2% em relação ao ano de 2014, no Brasil. Este artigo, objetivou verificar o índice de matrículas da Educação Especial (alunos de escolas especiais, classes especiais e incluídos) na Educação Profissional Técnica de Nível Médio no Estado do Amapá- Brasil (2015-2018). Metodologicamente, realizou-se levantamento de dados no site do Inep e pesquisa bibliográfica, com abordagem que envolve métodos mistos. Nos resultados, constatou-se um aumento de matrículas nos cursos integrados na rede federal, enquanto que nos cursos concomitantes e subsequentes a taxa de elevação aconteceu na rede estadual. Já na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), por sua vez, só houve registro de matrículas na rede federal presencial. Conclui-se que as escolas precisam estar preparadas para atender ao público da educação especial, para que possam garantir uma educação inclusiva de qualidade. Para isso, são necessários maiores investimentos públicos na educação do norte do país. Além de comprometimento nacional e estadual, no desenvolvimento de pesquisas que possam mapear a temática da educação especial em sua relação com os níveis, etapas e outras modalidades de ensino (como a EJA), respeitando-se as diferenças socioeconômicas e culturais das regiões brasileiras, bem como as suas possíveis potencialidades e fragilidades educacionais.
