Resumo: Created in the municipality of Igarapé-Miri, in the interior of Pará, Mirimbol and Contrataque are the focus of this investigation. The objective was to analyze the knowledge of elementary school students regarding these two modalities in Santana, Amapá. The study was carried out with an exploratory and descriptive nature, with a sample of 200 students. In data collection, a questionnaire was used to verify the students' knowledge regarding the modalities researched. It was found in the results that in the reality investigated, little is known about these sports and they are still confused with game content. Most participants are unaware of the technical, historical aspects and specific characteristics of the two modalities investigated. It is concluded that it is necessary to consider regionalities in studies of this nature because it reveals the peculiarities of the national reality and the contribution of these sports, diversifying the content offered to students.

Realizou-se o estudo com característica exploratória e descritiva, com uma amostra de 200 alunos. Na coleta de dados utilizou-se um questionário para a constatação dos conhecimentos dos estudantes quanto às modalidades pesquisadas. Constatou-se nos resultados que na realidade investigada pouco se conhece sobre estes esportes e ainda são confundidos com o conteúdo jogo. Os participantes em sua maioria desconhecem os aspectos técnicos, históricos e características específicas das duas modalidades investigadas. Conclui-se que é necessário considerar as regionalidades em estudos desta natureza porque revela as peculiaridades da realidade nacional e a contribuição destes esportes, diversificando as ofertas de conteúdos aos alunos.Creadas en el municipio de Igarapé-Miri, en el interior de Pará, Mirimbol y Contrataque son el foco de esta investigación. El objetivo fue analizar el conocimiento de los estudiantes de la escuela primaria sobre estas dos modalidades en Santana, Amapá. El estudio se realizó con carácter exploratorio y descriptivo, con una muestra de 200 estudiantes. En la recolección de datos se utilizó un cuestionario para verificar el conocimiento de los estudiantes sobre las modalidades investigadas. Se encontró en los resultados que en la realidad investigada se sabe poco sobre estos deportes y aún se confunden con el contenido del juego. La mayoría de los participantes desconocen los aspectos técnicos, históricos y las características específicas de las dos modalidades investigadas.
