Curriculum, sexual and gender diversity: weaving reflections on teacher training

Resumo: The article reflects on the practices of curriculum and teacher training, in the issues inherent to the relations of gender, sexuality and sexual diversity, considering them as themes relevant to the constitution of human subjectivities in contemporary times. Based on this assumption, the present study aims to analyze which curriculum practices concerning issues of gender and sexual diversity permeate teacher training courses, in public higher education institutions in the Identity Territory of Piemonte Norte do Itapicuru, in the State of Bahia. As for the methodological procedures, we opted for the narratives because we understand that such procedures would enable us to have a greater capacity for analysis with respect to the research objective. From the narratives it is possible to show that diversity ends up questioning the curriculum, the school and its pedagogical practice, fostering the need for the themes that contemplate diversity to be ensured in the different times and spaces of doing education. In the fields of teacher training, we understand the need for a review of the curriculum proposals for the undergraduate courses in that Territory, aiming to ensure more space in the curriculum.

A partir de este supuesto, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar qué prácticas curriculares en materia de género y diversidad sexual permean los cursos de formación docente, en las instituciones públicas de educación superior del Territorio Identidad Piemonte Norte do Itapicuru, en el Estado de Bahía. En cuanto a los procedimientos metodológicos, optamos por las narrativas porque entendemos que tales procedimientos nos permitirían tener una mayor capacidad de análisis sobre el objetivo de la investigación. A partir de las narrativas es posible mostrar que la diversidad termina cuestionando el currículo, la escuela y su práctica pedagógica, fomentando la necesidad de que los temas que contemplen la diversidad estén asegurados en los diferentes tiempos y espacios de hacer educación. En el ámbito de la formación del profesorado, entendemos la necesidad de una revisión de las propuestas curriculares de los cursos de grado en ese Territorio, con el objetivo de asegurar más espacio en el currículo.O artigo tece reflexões acerca das práticas de currículo e formação de professores, nas questões inerentes as relações de gênero, sexualidade e diversidade sexual, por considera-las temáticas pertinentes à constituição das subjetividades humanas na contemporaneidade. Partindo desse pressuposto o presente estudo tem por objetivo analisar quais práticas de currículo concernentes às questões de gênero e diversidade sexual permeiam os cursos de formação docente, nas instituições públicas de ensino superior do Território de Identidade do Piemonte Norte do Itapicuru, no Estado da Bahia. Quanto aos procedimentos metodológicos optamos pelas narrativas por compreendermos que tais procedimentos nos possibilitaria maior capacidade de análise no que tange ao objetivo da pesquisa. A partir das narrativas é possível evidenciar que a diversidade acaba por questionar o currículo, a escola e sua prática pedagógica, fomentando a necessidade de que as temáticas que contemplem a diversidade sejam asseguradas nos distintos tempos e espaços do fazer educação.
