Paths to interprofessional education in health courses at an university of Minas Gerais

Resumo: | Health education from the perspective of interprofessionalism in Brazil takes place after a long debate on changes in higher education. Academic training from the perspective of interprofessionalism became more evident, after debates and needs in the service about comprehensiveness in health. Thus, several courses in the country have in their National Curriculum Guidelines the perspective of training aimed at collaborative practices and interprofessional training. This work, developed during the period of the Education Program for Work for Health (PET-Health) thematic axis Interprofessionality, offered subsidies to reflect on the trajectory of Physical Education, Medicine and Psychology courses at a University of Minas Gerais, in a articulation process for curriculum integration focusing on Interprofessional Education for the Unified Health System. Content analysis was qualitatively carried out for the interpretation of information from the Curriculum Pedagogical Projects of the aforementioned courses. The analysis carried out showed that it is possible to integrate the curriculum between the courses, as they are all located in the progressive field. The implementation of actions that enable Interprofessional Education requires changes in the institutional culture, based on debate and collective reflection. The PET-Saúde Interprofessionalidade was a great agent of change and the analyzes produced allowed it to trace strategies and seek actors for curriculum integration, development of Interprofessionalism and strengthening of the Unified Health System. The analyzes of this study can also serve as a subsidy for discussion in other courses in the health area. |

La formación académica desde la perspectiva de la interprofesionalidad se hizo más evidente, luego de debates y necesidades en el servicio sobre la integralidad en salud. Así, varios cursos en el país tienen en sus Lineamientos Curriculares Nacionales la perspectiva de la formación orientada a las prácticas colaborativas y la formación interprofesional. Este trabajo, desarrollado durante el período del Programa de Educación para el Trabajo para la Salud (PET-Salud) eje temático Interprofesionalidad, ofreció subsidios para reflexionar sobre la trayectoria de los cursos de Educación Física, Medicina y Psicología en una Universidad de Minas Gerais, en un proceso de articulación para la integración curricular con foco en la Educación Interprofesional para el Sistema Único de Salud. Se realizó un análisis de contenido cualitativo para la interpretación de la información de los Proyectos Pedagógicos Curriculares de los cursos antes mencionados. El análisis realizado mostró que es posible integrar el plan de estudios entre los cursos, ya que todos se ubican en el campo progresivo. La implementación de acciones que posibiliten la Educación Interprofesional requiere cambios en la cultura institucional, basados en el debate y la reflexión colectiva. La Interprofessionalidade PET-Saúde fue un gran agente de cambio y los análisis producidos le permitieron trazar estrategias y buscar actores para la integración curricular, el desarrollo de la interprofesionalidad y el fortalecimiento del Sistema Único de Salud. Los análisis de este estudio también pueden servir como un subsidio para la discusión en otros cursos del área de la salud.A formação em saúde na perspectiva da interprofissionalidade no Brasil,ocorre depois de um longo debate sobre as mudanças na educação superior. A formação acadêmica na perspectiva da interprofissionalidade se tornou mais evidente, após debates e necessidades no serviço sobre a integralidade em saúde. Dessa forma, vários cursos no país possuem nas suas Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais (DCN) a perspectiva de formação visando práticas colaborativas e uma formação interprofissional. Este trabalho desenvolvido durante o período do Programa de Educação pelo Trabalho para a Saúde-(PET- Saúde) eixo temático Interprofissionalidade, ofereceu subsídios para refletir sobre a trajetória dos cursos de Educação Física, Medicina e Psicologia de uma Universidade de Minas Gerais, em um processo de articulação, para a integração curricular focando na Educação Interprofissional no para o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Foi realizada qualitativamente a análise de conteúdo para a interpretação das informações dos Projetos Pedagógicos Curriculares dos cursos supracitados. A análise feita mostrou ser possível a integração curricular entre os cursos, pois todos se situam no campo progressista. A implantação de ações que viabilizem a Educação Interprofissional necessita de mudanças na cultura institucional, a partir do debate e da reflexão coletiva. O PET-Saúde Interprofissionalidade foi um grande agente de mudanças e as análises produzidas permitiram traçar estratégias e buscar atores para a integração curricular, desenvolvimento da Interprofissionalidade e fortalecimento do SUS.
