Ethics in research and combating academic plagiarism: an educational practice using the inverted classroom

Resumo: The present work has as object an educational practice, in the format of a short course, aimed at clarifying ethics in research and combating academic plagiarism, carried out using the active methodology inverted classroom. The objective was to report the planning, execution and evaluation of this educational practice. The theoretical framework was based on authors such as Krokoscz (2012), Valente (2014), among others, in addition to guidance from Capes and Brazilian legislation. With a descriptive character of a qualitative approach, the experience was based on a bibliographic review, in order to reference the theme worked, in addition to the application of a questionnaire to collect data from the diagnostic evaluation. For the purpose of results, the study pointed out that the inverted classroom contributes substantially to the formation of more critical students, who express their own opinions, instigate their autonomy and enrich the interaction with the teacher and between the students themselves. At the end of the educational practice, it was found that the mini-course was an efficient tool to help in the research training process of the participating students.

El objetivo fue informar sobre la planificación, ejecución y evaluación de esta práctica educativa. El marco teórico se basó en autores como Krokoscz (2012), Valente (2014), entre otros, además de orientaciones de la Capes y la legislación brasileña. Con un carácter descriptivo de abordaje cualitativo, la experiencia se basó en una revisión bibliográfica, con el fin de referenciar el tema trabajado, además de la aplicación de un cuestionario para recolectar datos de la evaluación diagnóstica. A efectos de resultados, el estudio señaló que el aula invertida contribuye sustancialmente a la formación de alumnos más críticos, que expresan sus propias opiniones, instigan su autonomía y enriquecen la interacción con el docente y entre los propios alumnos. Al final de la práctica educativa, se encontró que el minicurso fue una herramienta eficaz para ayudar en el proceso de formación investigadora de los estudiantes participantes.O presente trabalho tem como objeto uma prática educativa, no formato de um minicurso, voltado ao esclarecimento sobre ética na pesquisa e combate ao plágio acadêmico, realizado com o uso da metodologia ativa sala de aula invertida. Objetivou-se relatar o planejamento, execução e avaliação dessa prática educativa. O referencial teórico foi fundamentado em autores como Krokoscz (2012), Valente (2014), dentre outros, além de orientações da Capes e legislações brasileiras. Com caráter descritivo de abordagem qualitativa, a experiência foi fundamentada em revisão bibliográfica, a fim de referenciar a temática trabalhada, além da aplicação de questionário para coleta de dados da avaliação diagnóstica. Para efeito de resultados, o estudo apontou que a sala de aula invertida contribui substancialmente na formação de estudantes mais críticos, que expressam suas próprias opiniões, instiga a autonomia destes e enriquece a interação com o professor e entre os próprios estudantes.
