The relevance Multilevel Library in the fulfillment of the educational rights of users with visual and motor disabilities

Resumo: This article discusses the importance of existing multilevel libraries in the Federal Network of Vocational and Technological Education aiming at the process of inclusion of users with motor and visual disabilities. The aim of the study is to demonstrate the relevance of this type of library to the teaching-learning process of the entire academic community. To this end, we present a research that envisions the definition of visual and motor disability, highlights the role of laws in the face of guaranteeing the rights of this public and defends access to information as a form of inclusion. As a methodology, qualitative and quantitative research was used. Thus, the instruments were both books, journal articles and laws for qualitative research and a questionnaire for quantitative. It was found that there is an interest of the federal school system in ensuring the rights of students with disabilities and a need for awareness of institutions and society in the process of achieving inclusion in its entirety. In this sense, we can exemplify the Waldyr Diogo de Siqueira Library, as an IFCE Multilevel Library, Fortaleza campus.

El objetivodel estudio es demostrar la relevancia de este tipo de biblioteca para el procesode enseñanza-aprendizaje de toda la comunidad académica. Con este fin, sepresenta una investigación que contempla la definición de discapacidad visualy motora, destaca el papel de las leyes para garantizar los derechos deeste público y aboga por el acceso a la información como una forma deinclusión. Como metodología, se utilizó la investigación cualitativa ycuantitativa. Por lo tanto, los instrumentos eran libros, artículos de revistasy leyes para la investigación cualitativa y un cuestionario para la investigacióncuantitativa. Se descubrió que existe un interés del sistema escolar federal engarantizar los derechos de los estudiantes con discapacidades y la necesidadde concienciar a las instituciones y la sociedad en el proceso de lograr lainclusión en su totalidad. En este sentido, podemos ejemplificar la BibliotecaWaldyr Diogo de Siqueira, como una Biblioteca Multinivel IFCE, en el campusde Fortaleza.O presente artigo disserta sobre a importância das bibliotecas multiníveis existentes na Rede Federal de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica visando o processo de inclusão dos usuários com deficiência motora e visual. O objetivo do estudo é demonstrar a relevância deste tipo de biblioteca para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de toda a comunidade acadêmica. Para tanto, apresenta-se uma pesquisa que vislumbra a definição de deficiência visual e motora, destaca o papel das leis diante da garantia dos direitos desse público e defende o acesso à informação como forma de inclusão. Como metodologia, usou-se a pesquisa quali-quantitativa. Desse modo, os instrumentos foram tanto os livros, artigos de periódicos e leis para a pesquisa qualitativa e um questionário para a quantitativa. Constatou-se que há um interesse da rede federal de ensino em assegurar os direitos dos estudantes com deficiência e uma necessidade de conscientização das instituições e da sociedade no processo de efetivação da inclusão em sua totalidade.
