Science Teaching and Teacher Training: The Child and Scientific Literacy

Resumo: This article presents a bibliographical review, with a qualitative approach and documentary character, about the following problem: "Is there a relation between the teaching of science for the initial years and the training of teachers in the area of natural sciences?". It reflects on the contingencies that produced the process of schooling in the formation of teachers who work in the initial years, in this case the Pedagogues, teaching Natural Sciences for children. It is perceived that there is an emerging and growing concern with the directions that the Natural Sciences area has faced in the early years of Elementary Education, in the sense that the Teaching of Science in the historical process was thought by adults, which as a result may have left the power of the sensitive and the imaginary of the child. This is very important for the child to perceive in the world, thinking and acting guided by the significant knowledge of the Natural Sciences. Whereas the teaching of Science for the initial years requires the planning of strategies by the educator and this production of educational strategies goes beyond the application of scientific methods and the preparation of lesson plans. Therefore, it is necessary to be involved in overcoming the existing gaps in the training and approach of knowledge made in Higher Education and what is presented to children in the classroom.

Reflexiona sobre las contingencias que produjeron el proceso de escolarización en la formación de docentes que trabajan en los primeros años, en este caso los Pedagogos, docentes de Ciencias Naturales para niños. Se percibe que existe una preocupación creciente y creciente con respecto a las direcciones que el área de Ciencias Naturales ha enfrentado en los primeros años de la Educación Primaria, en el sentido de que la Enseñanza de la Ciencia en el proceso histórico fue pensada por adultos, lo que como resultado puede haber dejado de existir. El poder de lo sensible y lo imaginario del niño. Esto es muy importante para que el niño perciba en el mundo, pensando y actuando guiado por el conocimiento significativo de las Ciencias Naturales. Considerando que la enseñanza de la ciencia para los primeros años requiere la planificación de estrategias por parte del educador y esta producción de estrategias educativas va más allá de la aplicación de métodos científicos y la preparación de planes de lecciones. Por lo tanto, es necesario involucrarse en superar las brechas existentes en la capacitación y el enfoque del conocimiento realizado en Educación Superior y lo que se presenta a los niños en el aula.O presente artigo realiza uma revisão bibliográfica, de abordagem qualitativa e caráter documental, acerca da seguinte problemática “Há relação entre o Ensino de Ciências para os anos iniciais e a Formação de Professores na área das Ciências Naturais?”. Reflete acerca das contingências que produziram o processo de escolarização na Formação de professores que atuam nos anos iniciais, nesse caso os Pedagogos, ensinando Ciências Naturais para crianças. Percebe-se que é emergente e crescente a preocupação com os rumos que a área das Ciências Naturais tem enfrentado nos anos inicias do Ensino Fundamental, no sentido que o Ensino das Ciências no processo histórico foi pensado por adultos, o que como resultado pode ter deixado de lado a potência do sensível e o imaginário da criança. Isso é importantíssimo para que a criança se perceba no mundo, pensando e agindo norteada pelos saberes significativos das Ciências Naturais. Ao passo que o falar do Ensino de Ciências para os anos iniciais exige o planejamento de estratégias por parte do educador e, essa produção de estratégias educativas ultrapassa a aplicação de métodos científicos e elaboração de planos de aula.
