Analysis of quality in education associated with knowledge about Environmental Sciences of High School and Higher Students

Resumo: Quality education awakens and enhances skills, helps to develop citizenship, creativity and freedom. It is directly linked to environmental conditions, which does not receive the necessary attention within public and private schools. Aware of this, the UN (United Nations) has formulated an official document of goals to be met by the year 2030. Sustainability goes beyond environmentally friendly practices, it interferes with the quality of social and economic life, which includes a quality education. To relate the quality of education with environmental knowledge and practices, research was carried out whose data collection instrument used was an interview with 277 students from public, private and technical schools, who are attending or have completed high school, have completed high school, and are pursuing higher education. An electronic form approved by the ethics committee of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Tocantins – IFTO was distributed, and the responses were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. With the help of a bibliographic survey, it was possible to analyze the data, relating them to the Sustainable Development Goals, Agenda 2030. It was observed an absence of environmental disciplines, lack of sustainable practices of students with different levels of education, and neglect with the environment, since most students are not interested in environmental issues.

Está directamente ligado a las condiciones ambientales, que no recibe la atención necesaria dentro de las escuelas públicas y privadas. Consciente de ello, la ONU (Naciones Unidas) ha formulado un documento oficial de metas a cumplir para el año 2030. La sostenibilidad va más allá de prácticas amigables con el medio ambiente, interfiere con la calidad de vida social y económica, lo que incluye una educación de calidad. Con el objetivo de relacionar la calidad de la educación con los saberes y prácticas ambientales, se realizó una investigación cuyo instrumento de recolección de datos se utilizó la entrevista a 277 estudiantes de escuelas públicas, privadas y técnicas, que cursan o terminaron la secundaria, han terminado la secundaria. la escuela y están cursando estudios superiores. Se distribuyó un formulario electrónico aprobado por el comité de ética del Instituto Federal de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología de Tocantins – IFTO, y las respuestas fueron analizadas cualitativa y cuantitativamente. Con la ayuda de un levantamiento bibliográfico, fue posible analizar los datos, relacionándolos con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, Agenda 2030. Se observó ausencia de disciplinas ambientales, falta de prácticas sostenibles de estudiantes con diferentes niveles de educación y negligencia. con el medio ambiente medio ambiente, ya que a la mayoría de los estudiantes no les interesan los temas ambientales.A educação de qualidade desperta e potencializa habilidades, auxilia no desenvolvimento da cidadania, criatividade e liberdade. Além disso, ela está diretamente ligada a condições ambientais, entretanto não recebe atenção necessária dentro das escolas públicas e privadas. Consciente disso, a ONU (Organização das Nações Unidas) formulou um documento oficial de metas para serem cumpridas até o ano de 2030.  A sustentabilidade está além de práticas favoráveis ao meio ambiente, interfere na qualidade de vida social e econômica, o que inclui uma educação de qualidade.  Com o intuito de relacionar a qualidade da educação com conhecimentos e práticas ambientais, foi feito uma pesquisa cujo instrumento de coleta de dados foi uma entrevista com 277 alunos de escolas públicas, privadas e técnicas, que estejam cursando ou já concluíram o ensino médio e cursam o ensino superior. Foi distribuído um formulário eletrônico aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Tocantins – IFTO, e suas respostas foram analisadas qualitativa e quantitativamente. Com auxílio de um levantamento bibliográfico foi possível analisar os dados, relacionando-os com os Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável, Agenda 2030.
