Resumo: Academic monitoring is a teaching and learning modality that may be part of the student's training process, integrating research and extension activities. That training may be assisted with the use of active methodologies, contributing to a more dynamic and integrative teaching. Thus, it is intended to report the experience of monitoring with different approaches of active methodologies, in order to show the importance of the learning process construction in the discipline of Physiology to the Physical Education course. The aspects involved with the experience show the active methodologies applications in the discipline and their contributions in this teaching-learning process. Those applications were fundamental to increase the academic success of the students, since the problematizations, creativity, autonomy and criticisms stimulated by the application of these methodologies, favored a better understanding and comprehension of the content by the student. Therefore, it has been found that the participation of the monitor in the application of active methodologies in the discipline of Physiology was important in the academic education of all those involved. Both students and monitors were encouraged to explore subjects studied in Physiology, in a critical and autonomous way, contributing to the teaching-learning process of the student/monitor/teacher triad.

Esta formación se puede ayudar con el uso de metodologías activas, contribuyendo a una enseñanza más dinámica y integradora. Así, el objetivo es reportar la experiencia de seguimiento con diferentes enfoques de metodologías activas, con el fin de mostrar la importancia de construir el proceso de aprendizaje en la disciplina de La Fisiología para el curso de educación física. Los aspectos involucrados con la experiencia muestran las aplicaciones de las metodologías activas en la disciplina y sus contribuciones en este proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Tales aplicaciones fueron fundamentales para incrementar el éxito académico de los estudiantes, ya que las problematizaciones, creatividad, autonomía y críticas estimuladas por la aplicación de estas metodologías favorecían una mejor comprensión y comprensión del contenido por parte del alumno. Así, se constató que la participación del monitor con la aplicación de metodologías activas en la disciplina de la Fisiología fue importante en la formación académica de todos los involucrados. Tanto los estudiantes como los monitores fueron alentados a explorar contenidos explorados en fisiología, de manera crítica y autónoma, contribuyendo al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la tríada: estudiante-monitor-profesor.A monitoria acadêmica é uma modalidade de ensino e aprendizagem que pode fazer parte do processo de formação do discente, integrando atividades de pesquisa e extensão. Essa formação pode ser auxiliada com a utilização de metodologias ativas, contribuindo para um ensino mais dinâmico e integrativo. Assim, objetiva-se relatar a experiência da monitoria com diferentes abordagens das metodologias ativas, a fim de mostrar a importância da construção do processo da aprendizagem na disciplina de Fisiologia para o curso de educação física. Os aspectos envolvidos com a experiência, mostram as aplicações das metodologias ativas na disciplina e suas contribuições nesse processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Tais aplicações foram fundamentais para elevar o êxito acadêmico dos discentes, uma vez que as problematizações, criatividades, autonomia e criticidades estimuladas pela aplicação dessas metodologias, favoreceram a uma melhor compreensão e entendimento do conteúdo pelo aluno. Dessa maneira, verificou-se que a participação do monitor com a aplicação das metodologias ativas na disciplina de Fisiologia, foi importante na formação acadêmica dos todos os envolvidos.
