Resumo: Objective: to report the experience lived in the process of continuing education to nursing professionals from the realistic simulation for the treatment of wounds. Methods: This is a descriptive, participatory, convergent care study with a qualitative approach. The descriptive study is common in the field of education, in which the focus is to describe in more depth the behavior of the phenomena/people inserted in a reality Results and discussion: As a result, three contributions were listed: adequacy of the sterile dressing technique; adequate choice of dressing, prescription and management of dressings based on the assessment of the lesion; importance of carrying out permanent education considering learning methods that favor the improvement of wound care. Conclusion: Continuing education is a fundamental tool for improving care for complex wounds, being facilitated by the realistic simulation method, there is a greater assimilation of content and practical skills through this methodology, there is a lack in the process of knowledge about of dressings by nurses, being essential to educate them on the subject.

Métodos: Se trata de un estudio asistencial descriptivo, participativo, convergente y con abordaje cualitativo. El estudio descriptivo es común en el campo de la educación, en el que el foco es describir con mayor profundidad el comportamiento de los fenómenos/personas insertas en una realidad Resultados y discusión: Como resultado, se listaron tres aportes: adecuación del apósito estéril técnica; adecuada elección de apósitos, prescripción y manejo de apósitos en base a la valoración de la lesión; importancia de realizar educación permanente considerando métodos de aprendizaje que favorezcan el mejoramiento del cuidado de heridas. Conclusión: La educación continua es una herramienta fundamental para mejorar el cuidado de las heridas complejas, siendo facilitada por el método de simulación realista, existe una mayor asimilación de contenidos y habilidades prácticas a través de esta metodología, falta en el proceso de conocimiento sobre apósitos por parte de las enfermeras, siendo fundamental educarlos sobre el tema.Objetivo: relatar a experiência vivenciada no processo de educação permanente a profissionais de enfermagem a partir da simulação realística para o tratamento de feridas. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, participativo, convergente assistencial de abordagem qualitativa. O estudo descritivo é comum no campo da educação, em que o foco é descrever de forma mais aprofundada o comportamento dos fenômenos/pessoas inseridas em uma realidade. Resultados e discussão: Como resultado elencou-se três contribuições: adequação da técnica estéril de curativo; escolha adequada do curativo prescrição e manejo de coberturas partir da avaliação da lesão; importância da realização de educação permanente considerando métodos de aprendizagem que favoreçam o aprimoramento da assistência a feridas.
